Piggly Wiggly is a well-liked local store known for friendly service and convenience. Customers appreciate the helpful staff, who often go above and beyond, such as bagging groceries or assisting with photos. Many find the shopping experience to be excellent, with some discovering hard-to-find items and enjoying the store’s cleanliness, especially in the dairy section. While prices are sometimes considered a bit higher compared to larger stores like Walmart, customers value the friendly atmosphere, good deals, and the store’s role as a local landmark. Overall, visitors have positive experiences, describing the store as a friendly place where staff are helpful and the shopping is enjoyable. Piggly Wiggly is often recommended to friends and family, especially for those living nearby or shopping in Summerville.
This is one of my favorite grocery stores. Although not as large as the newest HT or Publix, that also means easy in and out. Locally owned and operated, the staff are much better at customer service than the high-end places. The value is very good with groceries being so expensive lately.

Better than food Lion in North Charleston and any place in North Charleston that carries food I love Piggly wiggly and it's always nice because there's older folks around that are respectful and if they don't have anything to say they don't say anything at all it's hard being around young folks these days
