“I never leave reviews. It’s not my thing. But today I have to leave a review. Our dog needed a C-Section. We called a dozen or more clinics. All the local places in Summerville like…well I’m not going to name them. The response was the same every where, Not on a Friday or we are too busy or all the doctors are out. They didn’t care at all. And the emergency clinic wanted over $7000 up front and they gave us little hope. But Dr. Greene and the Knightsville clinic staff came to our rescue. They saved our husky and the puppies. I will forever be grateful for their compassion. May God always bless them”

“I had a wonderful experience here today. My new ferret has been gaining weight since I got him and I wanted to make sure he was alright. The staff was pleasant and friendly. They all seem like they enjoy their jobs, which is incredibly important. The vet was amazing with him. Reassured me I am doing a good job with both of my boys and answered any questions I had. Start to finish this may have been one of the best experiences I have had at any vet. I have a farm, so I see a lot of vets ?”

However, I hope that one day you can become fully staffed so that an ER visit doesn't take 6 or more hours to complete. “I cannot endorse this vet enough.For context - my dog is VERY dog-reactive due to previous traumas and living on the streets for years.We found them last year after our rescue dog was attacked by another dog at our apartment complex. It was shortly after we moved to SC, so we had not gotten established with a vet here yet. I called them in a panic, they talked me through if I should take her to an emergency vet or if the injuries could wait until the next day. When I brought her in the next day, they were gentle with her and did great with her surgery. Our bill was SO much lower than we expected, especially for the exceptional care we recieved.We clearly chose to stay with VCA Westbury for her primary/annual care. They have been equally as amazing for this. As I said, she's very reactive and anxious - the vet and techs are patient and have a calming presence with her. They take the time to greet her before beginning an exam, and they trust us to put her muzzle on before any shots or blood draws.If you have any doubts about where to take your pet... take them here!!! You will get great care for a great price.”

“I wanted to write this review because this page is honestly not a accurate representation of this location or business. I also think that you only ever hear when someone has a bad experience so this one is good! I 1000% will recommend this place to other people. I registered my new dog that I rescued for an appoint and also signed up for the most basic plan. As a college student I really liked knowing that I could pay monthly and have the best care for my pup! When I arrived I was seen right away and they were super sweet! Then I sat for maybe 5 min tops before we were called back! I went into the room and the nurse was so kind and I could tell she enjoyed being there. She took the time to listen and write all of my questions down and DID NOT try and sell me things that I did not need. She explained everything to me and made the process really easy and stress free. Then they took my dog to the back and gave them everything he needed, and she also told me everything that was going on! I could even hear them back there talking about how cute and amazing my pup was! It made me really happy. Finally, the vet came in a spoke with me about my pup and answered all the questions I had asked the nurse. He was reassuring and took every concern i had seriously. Then he even complemented my pup and my training! With all of this being said, and if you are still reading.. give this place a chance! I truly cannot recommend it enough and my pup will continue going for all of his needs!”
