“If you like candy, like really, really like candy, this IS the store for you. 4 foot long gummy snakes and actual Simpson Duff. There is a few retro t-shirts and cheap toys, but you gotta go for the candy. Candy basically fills 1/4 of the store, so literally go 3/4 in and there you are near candy. I bet the weight of the candy outweighs the weight of the noncandy in there. I want in and couldn't believe what I saw, a diabetic nightmare.”
“I recently went into the Seneca S.C Store to make a Furniture purchase using the Progressive Leasing program I had been pre approved for on line.Once getting to the register and attempting to complete the transaction we continuously ran into issues.Steve, the Furniture Guy who helped me and I realized the issue although we were being told by the leasing agent on the phone the issue was something else.After leaving frustrated and not completing my purchase I returned the next day to try again.Once again Steve helped me and we had the same issue,called Progressive Leasing and this time we were able to complete my purchase.Throughout the whole 2 day process Steve was very patient and understanding of my frustration.Leah I believe is her name the cashier was also involved and very helpful as well.I would highly recommend shopping at your Seneca S.C Biglots for all of your Furniture needs and more!!!”
“Absolutely amazed today I have been into dozens of Dollar generals across our country never seen one so organized it was very clean there was one set of boxes that hadn't been the truck just came in yesterday any other Dollar general their truck going to come in last week and there would still be a disaster on the shelves and plenty of boxes in aisles blocking your way down the only thing I noticed was it was very hard to find a worker”

“Found this hidden gem while in town by a recommendation from a stranger of all things, and it did not disappoint!! Came looking for some vintage workwear and left with basically a new wardrobe for a steal. I felt like I had robbed her when the total was so low. If you’re a snob, this might not be a place for you. “I am new to the area here so I didn’t know what to expect being a small town. I was a little nervous about them not having a big selection of things due to low population, but i was amazingly surprised when I walked in and immediately seen that not only were they a full service/inventory store….. they were far beyond any store I had ever been to. Now maybe it’s because I’m from Fl or because it is a small town they want/need to provide most all of the essentials, but I am very great full that they do!
First thing I saw upon entering was a cold food section that had a small but abundant section of fresh fruits and veggies! I was just like, “WOW!!!”, I’m at a “Dollar General “ right? I was so thankful for this as it was late, I had no clue where any other stores might be and I really didn’t want frozen food.
Fresh food isle is something you don’t find where I’m from.
So anyway, the whole store was just well maintained, clean as a whistle, stocked & very well staffed. All the employees were very nice and eager to help me with a few things I needed.
I have been there a few times now, and every time my experience seems to get better.
So thank you to the employees of this DG, you all deserve a raise!”

“I hadn't been in in awhile due to transportation issues. However, I went in this week, found everything on my list, was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere ( no screaming babies or kids throwing temper tantrums like Walmart) store was clean, lady that works there is always friendly and makes me feel like a valued customer. She may be the manager, I am not sure, but she has been there awhile. She is always pleasant and friendly. was hard at work when I went in but took time to greet in a friendly manner.”
“They have everything! I can only knock off a star because of how unhelpful the cashier there was so unhelpful on finding things...but thus may have just been the one cashier so i can mark my experience any lower!”
“I worked here as a cashier and I have never been in a Dollar General that has very good employees until now because the manager Krystal Kelley is a excellent manager at this store and will show you the right way to do things right in the store . Everyone is so nice to the costumers. I had several of our costumers tell me that this is the store that they come to shop at because they are greeted every time they come into the store. We diffently do take care of our costumers inside the store.”
