Grocery Stores
“Food Lion is always dependable and carries most of the things I need. I now live in a very remote area with few other choices of grocery stores, so if I need some specialty item, I have to order it online.
When I lived in Charlotte I used to do the majority of my food shopping at Harris Teeter, which I knew was more expensive. One day my kid was going to FL so I went along and did my own shopping. When my items were all added up, I was amazed that I got the same things I always got at HT for almost $40 less, and I mean the same brands and everything. (I do love those specialty HT meatballs, though.)
Anyway, Food Lion is a happy place.”
“I lived in that neighborhood for most of my life and Woodlands was and still is a great establishment and all around one stop shop. Pump Jockey at Woodlands was my first job and some of my favorite memories happened here. Amazing food! You gotta get some of them chicken skins and you won't believe how big and juicy their whole birds are! Friendly service from owners and staff. We're looking forward to decade after decade of smiles and kind words you can't find anywhere else. Woodland Grocery "More than just a convenience store" I think It's gonna be Woodlands for breakfast. Check it out!”
“I love this place and the people in it!! The owners and employees are always so helpful and friendly. They really treat you like family. The food is great as well!! Very lucky to have them as my neighborhood store ❤️”
“I'm staying with friends about 15 minutes away from here, and this is the closest grocery store to me. I'm very happy with that, as Food Lion is my go-to place in Charlotte where I'm from.
The prices are reasonable, they have a great selection of produce, the store was spotless, and the staff friendly. Wonderful!”
“Highly recommend. John was super nice. Showed us around the farm, even showed us the inside of a beehive! He was great company to talk to, and had such beautiful kept land. We purchased a half gallon of honey from him and didn't break the bank like if we had from the store!”
“I had previously been at a dollar tree nearby (dirty, cluttered, boxes open & unopened all over the floors, shopping carts full of items that need to go back on the shelves) prior to going to the Dollar Tree in Lake Wylie, which I thought would be the same but The lake Wylie Dollar Tree was immaculate. No clutter, everything organized and clean. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. I was so impressed and will only go to this location. Thank you to Bryce, David, Rihanna, and Alexis the staff that was on that day.”
“Great customer service. Just Always out of everything and prices are never right from shelf to checkout. I still there about 4 to 7 days a week in hope that they get more in stock. This store should be updated like three the others. It’s a clean store and employees are always working.”
“We drove over from South Carolina to visit family near Knoxville after spending an afternoon at Frozen Head State park. We were in need of snacks and drinks for our trip back home. Walmart had everything we needed including a new portable cooler and ice. The store was
neat, clean and well stocked. The employees were attentive and helpful however the checkout/cashier process was abysmal, long and arduous line with not enough open registers and what seemed like multiple trainee cashiers. I will probably not return to this location.”
“Friendly people great selection of meats buying in bulk myself I get burned out after a few so I buy smaller portions and it's still to many, my dogs love it people food”
