Hours: Kwik Star in Brookings offers very convenient location with pumps that work great and the lowest gas prices, especially with the 10 cent per gallon member card discount. In-store grocery specials with the card are fantastic, and the ice cream alone is worth a visit. The rewards can be great, though sometimes it is very confusing. One employee usually knows what customers are asking about. The car wash entrance and width of the inside wash bay are too small; driving a truck or larger SUV risks damaged rims, and the car wash does not work half the time. The store is close to on par with others but seems to be out of stuff a lot, like donuts. They never have cinnamon roll frosted jelly bismarks, only trays of white frosted and powdered sugar ones. It is an all right Kwik Star but a shame. However, it is a great place for last second groceries, ready to go meals, and coffee easily and cheaply. The self checkout is amazing, especially for buying gas, and staff are always nice and super helpful.
