“This place is great. It's generally a higher price then some of the other hardware storess. However, you are greeted at the door and asked what you are looking to find. They will either tell you what aisle to find it or if it's tricky enough, someone will lead you to the section and help you find it.”
“I lost my wallet at this store on a day when I had been all around downtown Sioux Falls. Store personnel secured my wallet with about $150 cash and my credit cards, contacted me, and my wallet was returned with everything intact.

“I needed a 33mm socket. Kinda bummed no socket did have a 3/4 ratchet but no extension nor 3/4 to 1/2 adapter. But they tried.
I did find a 33mm socket with 1/2 drive so Brought back the ratchet no issues. Thank for everything.”

“If I need something quick, a special item I can't find anywhere else, or help with something I'm trying to put together this is my favorite stop. If I go in looking for help the staff usually gets me in and out in a couple minutes. Everyone is very knowledgeable and seems like they have a lot of the same employees they had for years.”

“Mr. Jerry Lottman at the Canton S.D. store was extremely helpful when I went to buy a Gorilla garden cart on 5/16/2024. While helping me, he cut his hand which began to bleed profusely. He was undeterred, completed the sale with a generous discount, and helped load the cart in my car. The lady employee in the green house also helped him and me. I did not learn her name. He was back at work today, 5/17/2024 and did not go for medical attention yesterday. He needs commendation for his dedication to his job and the store. They are both excellent employees.:o)”
“Ace is my go to place for harder to find quality hardware and nuts/bolts. Today I was looking for a hard to find stainless steel bolt and was able to easily find what I needed. Experienced a minor problem with my receipt and the cashier very helpful in resolving the issue. Excellent customer service. Well pleased.”
“Schoeneman's had the solution I needed when it came time to replace my 50+ year old single pane windows. Don Kaarre, from the Sioux Falls store, had all the answers I needed for a direct replacement of my awning style units. The product selection was good and the unit price was well within my budget. The windows arrived in relatively good time and Don had arranged with a local installer to remove the old windows and install the new. The installer showed up ready to work and had all the new windows installed in under two days. Amazing quality of work! They look great and function as designed. I'm very happy with the result.”
