“I needed a 33mm socket. Kinda bummed no socket did have a 3/4 ratchet but no extension nor 3/4 to 1/2 adapter. But they tried.
I did find a 33mm socket with 1/2 drive so Brought back the ratchet no issues. Thank for everything.”
“This location has the BEST employees. The guys are always smiling and in a good mood(bright and early, lunchtime and nearing the end of the workday). They are always helpful. Regardless if your asking where an item is located in the store or if by chance they don’t carry the item you need they will take time to suggest other places (hardware stores) the item may be sold at. A+ hands down. How one’s employees are(act/their attitude and demeanor) are honestly a huge part of a customer continuing to return time and time again. When I went to the store to pay, he explained the snow blower, how to take care of it and how to run it. He agreed to deliver it to my home free of charge. When he delivered, he again explained how to operate it and then made sure I was comfortable with operating it before he left.”

“Schoeneman's had the solution I needed when it came time to replace my 50+ year old single pane windows. Don Kaarre, from the Sioux Falls store, had all the answers I needed for a direct replacement of my awning style units. The product selection was good and the unit price was well within my budget. The windows arrived in relatively good time and Don had arranged with a local installer to remove the old windows and install the new. The installer showed up ready to work and had all the new windows installed in under two days. Amazing quality of work! They look great and function as designed. I'm very happy with the result.”

“Mr. Jerry Lottman at the Canton S.D. store was extremely helpful when I went to buy a Gorilla garden cart on 5/16/2024. While helping me, he cut his hand which began to bleed profusely. He was undeterred, completed the sale with a generous discount, and helped load the cart in my car. The lady employee in the green house also helped him and me. I did not learn her name. He was back at work today, 5/17/2024 and did not go for medical attention yesterday. He needs commendation for his dedication to his job and the store. They are both excellent employees.:o)”
“I went in looking for a pressure washer. Funny thing about that I didn't feel pressured. An associate approached me after 2-3 minutes and asked if I had any questions which I did. He was able to answer my questions and get me setup with a unit I am very happy with. Of course he recommended some additional products and listed the benefits but I didn't feel pressured to buy them. All though I did at his recommendation buy a few small things like oil and the service plan. He also gave me some really good advice on servicing the washer that wasn't in the manual but I do feel will benefit me. Sadly I don't remember the mans name however I will say this was my best northern tool experience and will certainly return to this location.”

“I needed help in window blinds, couldn't find anyone so went to front desk. A lady there said she would find someone. I went back to the blinds area and waited. Shortly the lady came to the area and told me the staff was busy with other customers but would be there shortly. Very soon the young man came and did an excellent job. Both employees were very helpful.”
