I bring my Saint Bernard/Collie mix, Peaches, here and they do an outstanding job every single time.Peaches is a massive dog with a mountain of thick hair, but the team handles her with so much patience, love, and expertise. She always comes out looking like a brand-new dog—perfectly deshedded, wonderfully soft, and smelling amazing. Peaches actually gets excited to go in, which proves how well she is treated. If you have a large or double-coated breed, this is the absolute best place to take them!

They were so nice from the get-go, compassionate, helpful, and informative. They took their time to explain things to me and tell me what they needed to know to help Jojo. They worked their butt off to figure out what was wrong with him. Most importantly, they treated Jojo with kindness and took such great care of him. You can see that they care about the animals they work with and know that pets are important to us.
The whole experience made me feel so comfortable and assured that everything would be okay. I am so satisfied with the service and so grateful that I found Best Care Pet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone searching for a vet who is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough, and kind.

I selected this vet because of the docs with their specialties in both heart and joint care which all giant breeds are susceptible. She can't be spayed until she is 2 either, and by that point she will probably be 150+. (She's big for a female; already 95# and 28" tall) They seem to have all the technical know how and equipment to meet the needs for a giant breed if something goes sideways. I just took her in for heart worm testing, heart worm & flee and tick meds. I was very happy with how they treated her and answered all my questions.

Kylie was nothing less than awesome and professional with a welcoming attitude. Then I got the privilege of meeting Dr. Sara Curry. I have worked in the animal industry for years and have never had a veterinarian make me feel so at home. I truly felt like my dog's best interest was always in mind and the same for my wallet. If there was a mountain top here in Sioux Falls I'd be running to it to shout from about how great this office is. Keep up the great work guys!

Sophie is old and a little cranky but Dr. Peterson and the vet techs are always kind and gentle with her. Dr. Peterson is great at tracking Sophie’s health then offering helpful treatment plans to keep Sophie active. Prices are reasonable and the office staff are friendly. I have recommended Prairie Creek to friends and family who also have cats.

From the start, Sydney was professional, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with real-world behavior issues. Our dog made huge improvements in holding “place,” showed major progress with resource guarding, and came home with much better kennel manners. The difference was noticeable immediately, and the structure Sydney put in place made it easy for us to continue the training at home. We’re extremely happy with the outcome and would confidently recommend Sydney to anyone considering a board and train program.
