“Rom was very nice, bed was great. Breakfast was very good. Only a couple of things, water pressure in shower was not too great. We did let them know at the front desk, said she would put a note into maintenance.”
“We stayed here for a few days over a long weekend. Although the first night we had an issue with our room, when we spoke with the staff the next morning, they went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was resolved and that we were happy with our stay. Great service!”

“The manager and the sweet lady checking me in were awesome! The lobby is very beautiful. My room well it wasn't so nice. There was dry blood on the wall. The room was pretty dirty. Breakfast was amazing! I just had the buffet. The girl that was helping me was very nice. The others pretty much ignore you. The guy who sat me was really nice and welcoming. The staff when I left was nice.”
“Have stayed at this location a few times, always clean and orderly. Has a nice pool area for the kids and the bar/restaurant area is nice. Also is one of the few hotels I’ve been to that has a self checkout for its little convenience area, that is awesome when you want your midnight ice cream or a snack while the front desk is helping someone else. Definitely my go to for when I stay in Rapid City. Also, Stacy at the front desk is awesome and makes you feel super welcome and is super helpful. If you are staying on a night that Stacy is working you will be in good hands.”

“True confession…I have not stayed at this motel myself but I do know who is working HARD to remodel and improve it. Donna is a fabulous designer; her and John are great people and I know when they are finished, it will be absolutely beautiful. “This is a beautiful place not far off the highway. The sound of vehicles doesn't reach the site. The tent sites are level and well taken care of, as were the baths and showers. The staff were friendly and phenomenal. I got in after midnight and promptly got us a spot and took payment. It was a good price for a tent site with the amenities offered. There is also a small playground with swings for the children.”
“I have lived in one of the monthly studios for a year at Avanti and I am very happy here. It is very quiet and very clean. Rooms are fully furnished and with kitchenettes so you don't have to eat out. Also has wall-mounted TV and cable included! Maintenance issues are handled promptly although I can count on one hand how many I've had in the last year. No drama and no police presence here. Some people are traveling through town, some stay for a few weeks and others are here longer, just working people. Great owners and great management. You will like it here.”

“I stayed at the Alex Johnson for about a month and experienced consistent excellence throughout my entire stay. My room was kept spotless during my whole trip, and when I had an issue with my room, the front desk resolved the problem as soon as I brought it up.Two employees I want to give shoutouts to are Novalee and Patrick. Novalee had great recommendations for tourist spots to visit and restaurants to try around town. Patrick was able to help be resolved billing/room issues promptly and had fantastic recommendations as well.I would strongly recommend staying for sure!Walkability: Walkable to maybe great bars and restaurants near by.”

“This was a nice quiet hotel. Room had some dirtiness but nothing horrible. They only have a restaurant. So no free breakfast. I didn't go to the restaurant so not sure what it was like. I showed up late and left early. Parking lot isn't very large and they have tour busses taking up a lot of it. There's no microwave either.”

“Beautiful historic hotel, appeared pretty clean. They have karaoke on the weekends and a deal on drinks. The pool table and darts in the pool area require change, air hockey is included. Wish they offered breakfast and a decent water fountain. Fair quality for $~100/night, but not the $300/night they charge during events.”
“Not bad, we usually only do the BW Plus. Great hotel for families, with the indoor water park. Ask for a room near the reception, A/B/C wing, very large hotel. Rooms were clean. Very large parking lot”
“Outstanding Customer Service! Room very clean and exceptionally comfortable bed!! Smelled fine and superb air circulation. Inexpensive laundry! Indoor pool and right across from buffet and Walmart. Staff very helpful. Felt safe and fairly quiet and would highly recommend!”

“The bed was a little bit hard, and the sheets were thin, but the place was crazy clean and the front desk guy was so nice and the place was pretty empty. I stayed in room 10 one and it was around $69. Definitely stay here again and I felt super safe! And then there was breakfast! oh my God they had the good apples! I’m talking Honeycrisp or something because they didn’t have stickers on them because I’m pretty sure they were already washed. Little signs to remind you to use hand sanitizer here and there next to big bottles of quality hand sanitizer. And biscuit egg cheese, and sausage sandwiches you could heat up! Baller breakfast !
The decor was super high-quality too……………”
