“What a great experience I had at this quaint little bed-and-breakfast. it was exactly what I needed. It was like coming home instead of a stuffy motel room. The rooms were decorated with different themes and they put a lot of thought into it. I truly appreciate the experience and the next time in South Dakota. I’ll be sure to be staying here instead of somewhere else and I highly recommend itRooms: My room was awesome. It had everything I needed. It was well put together. It was called the beach room and was quite cute. Whenever I had to leave and come back to my room. I look forward to being there. The rooms were clean, quiet, cozy.Nearby activities: There are a lot of attractions right there in the area not far from this bed-and-breakfast so you don’t have to go far even to get to downtown. Rapid City was just a short journey. It was a nice little Tuckaway place.Safety: I never felt unsafe at this placeFood & drinks: They have a little places called shipwrecked. It’s a bar and Grill great staff good food they treat you like they’ve known you for a while.”

“The five nights we stayed at Summer Creek Inn were absolutely wonderful. The inn is close to all the local attractions from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Rapid City and the Needles Highway. The rooms were beautifully decorated and offered quiet nights for sleeping. The breakfasts were delicious and more than enough to take you to dinner. Nancy and Dan were wonderful hosts and offered excellent suggestions about areas of interest. We highly recommend the inn.”

“Older motel, if you are in a pinch for a better priced room for the night, it will do the trick.. we rented 2 rooms. Air was a bit stale coming in but the a/c unit fixed that pretty quick.. beds were comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. Lot do road noice especially during Sturgis rally but that is the nature of the location..”

“I have lived in one of the monthly studios for a year at Avanti and I am very happy here. It is very quiet and very clean. Rooms are fully furnished and with kitchenettes so you don't have to eat out. Also has wall-mounted TV and cable included! Maintenance issues are handled promptly although I can count on one hand how many I've had in the last year. No drama and no police presence here. Some people are traveling through town, some stay for a few weeks and others are here longer, just working people. Great owners and great management. You will like it here.”

“I stayed at the Alex Johnson for about a month and experienced consistent excellence throughout my entire stay. My room was kept spotless during my whole trip, and when I had an issue with my room, the front desk resolved the problem as soon as I brought it up.Two employees I want to give shoutouts to are Novalee and Patrick. Novalee had great recommendations for tourist spots to visit and restaurants to try around town. Patrick was able to help be resolved billing/room issues promptly and had fantastic recommendations as well.I would strongly recommend staying for sure!Walkability: Walkable to maybe great bars and restaurants near by.”

“We just discovered their breakfast! I wish I had taken a picture of my most amazing BLT with egg. It had to be the biggest croissant I have ever seen. It was filled with lettuce egg, crispy bacon, tomato and a wonderful sauce. And it came with a side fruit salad that I counted nine different fruits! I definitely want to come back for breakfast. They serve breakfast until 10:00 (I asked) on top of this delicious breakfast the service was amazing!”

“Big, clean rooms, the in-house bar and attached Perkins Restaurant is very convenient. And the water slide is fun too!Rooms: The rooms are big, clean, and certainly adequate.Safety: There are frequently some sketchy looking characters in the vacinity of the property, usually outside wandering through the parking lot. It appears they stumble to the nearby convenience stores from the hatchery west of the hotel.Food & drinks: The cheers bar and Perkins Restaurant are nice to have on-site.”

“Loved everything about this place. Location was great and very reasonably priced. We had the 1 bedroom suite which provided plenty of space. Full kitchen and bonus is the indoor water park that was connected to the hotel. Definitely recommend”

“I recently stayed at a sleeping hotel in Rapid City, and my experience was quite positive. The hotel was a pleasant and quiet place to rest. The room was well-decorated and clean, and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The standout feature was the comfortable mattress; it provided a great night's sleep.However, there were a couple of downsides. The breakfast menu was somewhat limited, which could be improved. Additionally, when I first entered the room, there was an overwhelming scent of air freshener or some similar fragrance, which was a bit too strong for my liking.Despite these minor issues, I left the hotel feeling very satisfied with my stay and would certainly recommend it to others looking for a good night's sleep in Rapid City.”

“I'm used to hotel restaurants charging more just because they are in the hotel but the food is barely better than a chain restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised at Epic. Delish steak! Only complaint is the parking was horrible with ice. Almost fell numerous times walking in woth bags in the dark. My roller bag kept me upright.”

“We stayed there recently and when we left the manager charged us 150 dollars for having a small dog we had dog pads and the dog never even messed in the room. Very disappointing hotel to stay at very dirty rooms and hotel very under staffing went to breakfast at 7am was already out of food. We will never stay there again.Rooms: Rooms were very filthy and had bed bugs.”

“There are plenty of motels in this area. I chose this one because I'm on foot at the moment and there is a restaurant and gas station right across the street. The room was less than 45 bucks online. I made a good choice. big screen TV ? with Netflix available and direct TV. Most other cable channels too. Fridge, microwave, iron, hair dryer etc...They even sell beer in the lobby all night long...lol”

“I got placed in a room that was not supposed to be rented, and i was highly dissatisfied. I met with the management the next morning, and they were very professional. They went out of there way to ensure i was taken care of. They placed me into another room the next day that was spotless, great housekeeper. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I would stay here again, because they are new management and making positive changes to a motel that hadnt been taken care of for years. Grest Job Motel 6.”
