“Best Frozen food since I was a kid. My grandfather might have had known management here and would give my grandfather almost expired or unsold sandwiches. Trying to get sandwiches at where i work because they have a suggestion box to switch up the kiosk freezers. Id love to buy a box of sandwiches name your price..??”

“We only had time for coffee this stop, but there were plenty of customers seated at the tables and enjoying a more leisurely breakfast. My hunting buddies and I like this place a lot and always stop for breakfast, or at least coffee, on the way home. (The store sells dry ice, too, and we need to buy that to keep our harvested pheasants frozen.) Hi-Vee Deli food prices are low and the place has a friendly vibe. As usual, it was fun to browse the adjacent produce section of the supermarket, which always has some produce varieties or novelties that we don't see back home. This time it was an Osage orange display that caught my eye. These knobby green "hedge apples" aren't edible, and they can irritate your skin if you handle them, but they make interesting fall decorations.”

“We stopped here in the middle of a camping trip and after some poor planning, we needed a full grocery overhaul. My husband and i set out to Hyvee to grab some stuff to make all the fixings. We found everything we needed and quickly! This store is layed out like other hyvees. Fresh produce and fresh fruit. We got good cuts of meat and ground beef for chili. nice to have this closer to the lake vs heading all the way to Crofton for Walmart.”
