Followed with rude employees. But I can say 100%. I will go out of my way to make sure I get gas at shelbyville Tennessekroger. The young lady named Dorothy is just truly a blessing.She goes out of her way to make people have a good day. I have never met.
This girl before I started going to that store.So it's not like there's any reason to be as nice as she is to me and everyone else that I see encounter paying for their gas.She just truly has an amazing personality. I asked her if she was the manager out of curiosity because she definitely reflects on her team there! I could say some really mean things about the Tullahoma. Kroger, there are like any typical store ,bad attitudes annoyed at customers
I get that. We all have bad days. So it's very important when you see people going out of their way even with the customers that can sometimes be a jerk, It's important to give credit to them people. I have no clue if the corporate office.
Pay attention to Dorothy and her Shelbyville store. But I hope they recognize. How much this lady goes above and beyond compared to other kroger stores ... I don't care if i'm in Murfreesboro, Nashville especially Tullahoma I make sure I make it to Shelbyville Tennessee, if possible and I'm big on Shelbyville as a hole itself as a town.But the young lady Dorothy is truly amazing and just pleasant to be around.. It's good to know she's in management maybe they should have her training people at other stores .I know I'm rambling on but this young lady deserves appreciateion. I hope her boss appreciates her dedication to that job and understands the value of someone like her I can honestly say I will not go anywhere else besides there.Customer service is a must!!!! And that young lady goes above and beyond!”

“Have been coming here for years and it's a convenient store with gasoline and one of the fiew locations left in Bedford County that offers K1 kerosene which helps a lot of local folks when the cold temperatures of Winter drop low. “An amazing store right in the middle of the stretch between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville. The owner is always friendly and greeting and his staff is as well. The food is great and the variety of drinks and snacks is always perfect.”
“I’ve spent a lot of years in Middle Tennessee. But not a lot of time in Shelbyville Tennessee, with the exception of going to Duck River Speedway. This week I am stuck here due to truck repair issues for about a week. I had to run to the local laundromat and across the street is Los 3 Reyes store and taco shop. Come to find out this group is from California and has absolutely fantastic food. All of my different tacos, which were several, of each offered including shrimp and fish were amazing. Guacamole and refried beans like everything else are homemade, and are exactly what I would expect if I were making them myself, if not better. The store offers anything you could possibly want in an Hispanic market.Looks like this will be my daily stop for food especially since the Chile Rellenos will be finished this evening as they sold out yesterday. I can imagine how wonderful they will be as well!!They make two different salsas here, a green and a red. Both are excellent.”
“We drive over from Manchester, TN just to pick up some of his outstanding smoked ribs! One day we were lucky enough to get a rack of ribs fresh off the grill!
The grocery store is well stocked with fishing supplies as well as food and drink and a great candy selection! The owner is very friendly and bathrooms are super clean.”

“Its convenient especially when you live in Wartrace. They have reasonable prices on gas and take out food, also have a new guy working who is very nice and pleasant. The owners wife is very unpleasant- the draw back to going there.”
“I am a fan of this store and their staff, the same for their Vapes and Novelties that connects the building. Although, there is one lady who isn't as kind as the rest usually in the market side. It seems she only goes as far as expected, which is unlike the other people who work there. Which makes her the odd one out, and it wouldn't even be worth bringing up if everyone else working there wasn't so customer service oriented. She can be somewhat rude sometimes and almost always has an attitude that she could be doing something better than speaking to you or checking you out. It very well may be that she is the only one who doesn't go out of their way to help you, which shouldn't be expected of them, but it is a bit jarring when she's the only one who doesn't. So, in that case, I will take one star away. That's really the only issue I have for this side of the business.”

“Always friendly and very helpful. Gas prices are usually good, and lower than others.
They have the old coffee maker and it is always strong. Great selection of items in the store.
They only have 1 bathroom, which is for either men or women. But, it is always clean.
The store is very clean and tidy. I stop in everytime I come thru. One time they didn’t have coffee and the Lady working came out and made a fresh pot for me.
Plenty of room to park and on the South bound lane, heading into Shelbyville, TN.
I just visited and spoke with the fella working and he was very polite. Thank you guys !”
“The DG in Wartrace, Tn is wonderful.It is clean, well stocked and has the best housewares displays around.I can find stuff at this DG that I dont see at any other.Probably management.The employees seem happy also. Big change from some other DG I've been in.I this the managers and the employees need recognition and raises for doing a beautiful job of keeping a nice store, clean inside and outside.”
“I really don't understand the negative reviews. Not all gas stations honor coupons. I've never had a bad experience there. I go to this store nearly everyday. I have lived here a year and a half. The owners are nice and the store is constantly busy. The food is great and the prices are that of every other gas station. Yes it's expensive but it's a convenience store. You are paying for convenience. Lots of variety as well and the only place I can get a caffeine free diet drink. Keep up the great work. ?”

“Excellent Customer service! I stopped by here to grab a drink and nicotine after being on the road all day for work. They did not have my go to can and the young lady behind the counter was more than willing to show me everything similar to what I normally get just to help me out. I will definitely stop by on my next trip though there!”

The employees that I've encountered over the past many years have always been friendly and helpful and as I'm generally in a hurry for just a specific item they direct me to the correct spot almost every time. “This is my closest neighborhood DG. I really really appreciate how friendly the staff is EVERY time I come in. I've yet to have one bad experience. Yes, it's dollar general. Yes, there's sometimes going to be a box of stuff waiting to be put on a shelf. But they are understaffed and doing the best they can and I completely understand!
