“Virginia Avenue Food City is my favorite in this area because they have more manager's specials than other locations. (Of course the location in Abingdon which houses a bar & encourages customers to sip cocktails while shopping is the BEST, but...) The staff is usually friendly & helpful. Management is somewhat rude, but I don't have to deal with him often. Food is fresh & usually well stocked. I would recommend this location to others.”
“The distance from my home makes me a regular here. They are like family at this point. They have fair prices on in store items. They keep their store stocked and clean. I have never in 6+ (estimate) years had any problems or bad experiences at this gas station. Awesome people.”

“Since the new owners took over it really changed. Very friendly and the store opens early and doesn't close till 9 or 10. This makes it easier for a lot of people that live on up Holston Mountain. The store is always clean and organized and they remember their regular customers.”

“There’s a gentleman named Cody that works as a person who is bagging groceries at the front. Nicest gentleman I have ever met and you can see the joy in the hard work ethic in him every time you’re in there. I go to that store and I don’t even live in Bristol anymore just because I know he works there and it’s a pleasure. Leaving this review hopefully for him to be able to see at the very least for the company to see it and make him aware that his efforts and attitude don’t go unnoticed. An absolute stellar employee and all around human from everything I’ve seen.”
