“Boutique hotel with great service. Parking here is an issue. The valet is only available until 5 pm on weekdays and not at all on weekends. The rooms do not have a closet which was unusual. Great location to get around in Chattanooga.”

“We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Clemons. We are a family of 5 (2 adults, 13yr old, 14yr old, & baby) we had a 3 bedroom/1 bath. Very spacious. Good kitchen. Felt more like an AirBNB than a “hotel”. We really enjoyed the games downstairs (ping pong, etc). It is in a good location to drive to attractions (Ruby Falls , Rock City, etc). We walked to the riverwalk one evening by the aquarium (10min walk) and to supper. Very nice change from your typical downtown “hotel””

This was a last-minute reservation prompted by a family emergency, and staying here again was an easy choice since we'd been before. We originally booked for two nights and ended up extending to stay closer to family during a difficult stretch.
The entire stay was painless from the moment we arrived, starting with parking the car with the valet. Check-in went exactly the way check-in should: greeted with a smile and that genuine feeling of coming home. Andrew took care of our room upgrade and was a true professional throughout, thank you, Andrew. Aubrey at the front desk was also incredibly helpful in getting our stay extended and handling everything we needed along the way.
We also enjoyed a great conversation with Savanna, the bar and dining manager, who was helping support her team during the holiday weekend. She made us some wonderful mocktails and served us dinner, all while clearly keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
The room itself was amazing, and the shower water pressure was incredible, like standing in a car wash in the best possible way.
If we had one small suggestion, it would be this: coffee and tea are put out every morning just outside the elevators, a nice touch, but a small pot of decaf alongside it would be a welcome addition.
We don't know exactly when we'll be back, but we will be. Thank you to all the staff who supported us during that stay, even the ones whose names we didn't catch.

“Interesting and unique concept for hotel. The check in counter is the counter at the bar which is unusual. As soon as you walk in, you will see split flap display right away. It’s very nostalgic to see them and hear them 💗
At the lobby not like normal hotel, they have so many seating area (very cozy and relaxing) with games and board games and pool table etc.
The room is unique. I have never stayed at the hotel where two queen beds are NOT side by side. Another feature was toilet seat. It was square lol I have never sat on square toilet
seat, I didn’t love nor hate it 😉
The hotel is definitely designed for couples, singles, friends traveling together. There is not much room in a room at all. No big desk or sitting area not mini fridge BUT it’s perfect for the specific market. We would stay there just me and my husband next time but now with our teenagers lol we loved the experience for sure.👍🏻”
“Great historical transformation of a YMCA with nice pool. Sadly no free parking & chairs which are as old as the place which make some >200# people anxious to be seated. Otherwise it has alot of potential for those who can afford it.”

“My family and I are staying here because my son is playing in a tournament nearby. The employees are so friendly and helpful—especially Bree. During our stay, the toilet and air stopped working, so they moved us to a nearby room. Our next room was top notch. It was clean, had a kitchenette—everything we needed for our long weekend stay. It’s also near a mall and lots of restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.”

“My friends and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites and Inn Chattanooga Downtown for a girls' trip, and we had a wonderful experience.
The room was clean and comfortable, and our request for an ADA room with a bath chair was fulfilled promptly. The hotel’s location was very convenient, and we frequently used the free shuttle located just around the corner. Every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping, restaurant, and valet—was friendly and helpful.
I especially want to recognize Trace
from the valet team. We learned it was his first week on the job, yet his service was exemplary. He assisted us with our luggage, provided great local recommendations for dining and activities, and was consistently friendly.

“First I never used the pool. It looked nice and clean but thats it. I never at at the restaurant either.
The hotel was clean as were the rooms. You can see my pics. The fitness center was nice and well equipped. As always, the people working can make or break a location. In this instance everyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful.
Location is great. You can walk to many restaurants and a couple local attractions.”

“Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! We stayed at Hotel Indigo for several days and tried nearly everything on the breakfast menu and each meal was amazing. Our favorites were the "Johnny Hash" and "Southern Fried Love", but the breakfast burrito and bananas foster french toast were incredible as well. Our servers, Caitlin and Chef Erin, were ever-present, attentive, had a great attitude and were friendly even when the restaurant was jammed. Ample outdoor seating and plenty of space inside with a nice bar and televisions if you want to catch the game. We also enjoyed live music on Friday and Saturday night. @ambertasticalness played on Friday and became and instant favorite. Great breakfast, beautiful venue, live entertainment, and attentive service. I don't know what more anyone could want.”

“Quaint and small hotel offering single and double beds. Rates are great prices featuring daily or weekly rates. The staff is great and keeps the hotel clean. The rooms are small and cozy featuring a tv with cable, a microwave for food and a small fridge. The ac is amazing in the rooms weve stayed in even with the elevated heatwave weve had recently. The rooms are cozy bed comfy perfect location in fort o near all restaurants, walmart, and right by the battlefield!”

“Beds were super comfortable and loaded with pillows. Shower water pressure was good. All amenities in room worked well. Fridge actually worked a little too well.
Carpeting and overall room was outdated, but to be expected for a lower to mid range hotel.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was middle of the road and competitively priced given the dozens of immediately surrounding hotels, motels, and extended stays.
Breakfast was your standard eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, waffles. But it was good, and included in the room rate.
Solid 4 star for me.”

“Wow!! This place is VERY comfortable. Love how clean it is, also such a convenient area, your not that far from Hamilton Place mall. Staff was very nice and welcoming, And I also love how there is a kitchen, a full size refrigerator, and the microwave. It seems like some extended days don’t even Include if it’s not one thing it’s another . Definitely would recommend to people who need somewhere to stay for long-term. Also has a washer and dryer! Definitely five out of five!”

“I stayed on Dec 19, 2025 on my way to Texas. Checked in around 10pm. Jay was the attendant and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered my questions with a smile and welcoming attitude! I am positive at this time of year he has had a rough shift yet he never showed it! That speaks volumes for his work ethic as well as the motel.
I have Multiple Sclerosis and mobility issues. I had a ground floor room and while it was not a handicap unit it was very accessible.
The room had minor issues but was very welcome for two travelers and a demanding Yorkie. She loved having two beds to go from.
I checked out around 7:30 the next morning and Jay was there again. It was nice to be able to say goodbye and thank him for his hospitality. As I was leaving he even gave me a Merry Christmas. If I am this way again and need a place to sleep I will come back.
I see the negative reviews but my experience was a positive one and I believe Jay as well as Motel 6 should be recognized for that.
Job well done and thanks for a decent place to lay my head overnight.”
