“I stay in choice hotels almost exclusively whenever I travel. Usually those end up being Quality Inns. This one is one of the few that were actually nice. The tubs were decent with pluggable water, the shower head worked without spraying all over. The AC and heat worked as supposed to. And it actually had a working refrigerator. The next room was extremely noisy but that is not on hotel. The only negative that I can come up with was the breakfast. They had a very small selection of foods provided. There was eggs sausage waffles and cereal that was all. And then there were yogurt and muffins / donuts. They did not have orange juice which I thought was kind of strange but they did have apple juice. The breakfast being minimal was not cause to reduce any stars.”
“The Read House is absolutely stunning and has such deep history. It’s located in a great central location to Chattanooga so you can really enjoy all the city has to offer.
From the moment we walked into The Read House in Chattanooga, the tone was set with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff greeted us with welcoming smiles and a level of attentiveness that felt natural and unforced. Every interaction throughout our stay was friendly, helpful, and thoughtful.
The attention to detail was impressive. Everything was spotless. The chrome fixtures gleamed without a smudge, and there was not a speck of dust in sight. It is clear that care and pride go into maintaining the property.
Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable. The bed made it easy to relax and truly unwind. Every detail felt intentional and well cared for.
The Read House delivers both charm and excellence in service, making it a place we would gladly return to.”

“Beds are cozy. Rooms are cozy. Bars, food, and atmosphere is great. Location is perfect and the outside grounds are top notch. We've been coming to Chat for 50 years and have never stayed here at this hotel until last night. This will be our go to from here on out. If your looking from some amazing pizza. Go to Community Pie! Hands down the BEST IN THE COUNTRY!”

“This hotel is amazing. The staff are so polite and friendly (the manager is fantastic!!) and the hotel itself is gorgeous! The location is great and definitely walkable to many places. The Matilda midnight bar has some of the best cocktails I’ve ever tried. 10/10 recommend staying here!”
“Clean comfortable beds . Soft pillows. beautiful rooms and spacious bathrooms!. Very good coffee near the restaurant . Front desk so warm and friendly even the vallets?. We travel a lot and always always choose Hotel indigo over Marriots n Hiltons. They seem to have gotten plain n mediocre .”

“I stayed here for four weeks while dealing with a water issue at home, and it was such a great experience. It is stressful enough to be displaced but I also had my pets to consider. They were able to come with me here. The vibe is really cool, clean, and trendy. The rooms are apartment-style with a fully furnished kitchen and cute funky décor — felt more like a home than a hotel. The beds were super comfortable. I had a two bedroom with 2 full baths, very spacious.
The location is awesome — right downtown and close to everything. There’s a restaurant on-site and even a Peet’s Coffee, which was a nice bonus. I also had a great mountain view from my room, and it was surprisingly quiet most of the time. The bedrooms could have a bit more light.
The staff were all really friendly and quick to help with anything I needed. Overall, I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay — highly recommend for a short or long stay.”

“My friends and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Suites and Inn Chattanooga Downtown for a girls' trip, and we had a wonderful experience.
The room was clean and comfortable, and our request for an ADA room with a bath chair was fulfilled promptly. The hotel’s location was very convenient, and we frequently used the free shuttle located just around the corner. Every staff member we encountered—from the front desk to housekeeping, restaurant, and valet—was friendly and helpful.
I especially want to recognize Trace
from the valet team. We learned it was his first week on the job, yet his service was exemplary. He assisted us with our luggage, provided great local recommendations for dining and activities, and was consistently friendly.

“Stayed one night on our way from Michigan to Florida. Overall very nice great location close to anything an everything you could want or need. They are under renovation so it isn't perfect but it is very clean an well kept. Small food an drink shop next to the desk. The outside pool was very nice and well kept.”

“Breakfast was OUTSTANDING!! We stayed at Hotel Indigo for several days and tried nearly everything on the breakfast menu and each meal was amazing. Our favorites were the "Johnny Hash" and "Southern Fried Love", but the breakfast burrito and bananas foster french toast were incredible as well. Our servers, Caitlin and Chef Erin, were ever-present, attentive, had a great attitude and were friendly even when the restaurant was jammed. Ample outdoor seating and plenty of space inside with a nice bar and televisions if you want to catch the game. We also enjoyed live music on Friday and Saturday night. @ambertasticalness played on Friday and became and instant favorite. Great breakfast, beautiful venue, live entertainment, and attentive service. I don't know what more anyone could want.”

“Chatt inn is a cool place to stay,especially when you need a Lil piece of mind or even just to stay for a temporary of time. The manager MS.Anita is very nice and sweet and makes sure she keeps everyone safe and comfortable and that your happy with your stay if your not she'll see what she can do to make you satisfied. The staff are very friendly as well Angel is very helpful and do what she can do to make sure the customer is satisfied with where they are staying for the day. It's not a bad hotel its more exciting to stay because they have a pizza place next door YUM with other restaurants and stores around ☺️ 5 stars in my book”
“Beds were super comfortable and loaded with pillows. Shower water pressure was good. All amenities in room worked well. Fridge actually worked a little too well.
Carpeting and overall room was outdated, but to be expected for a lower to mid range hotel.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Price was middle of the road and competitively priced given the dozens of immediately surrounding hotels, motels, and extended stays.
Breakfast was your standard eggs, sausage, muffins, yogurt, waffles. But it was good, and included in the room rate.
Solid 4 star for me.”

“The place is in a fantastic location. The staff makes it even better. Nick was able to help my special requests and direct us to a nearby grocery store in time before it closed. Brad was so helpful in getting my boarding passes printed while I was stuck in a conference. Blake was amazing by preparing coffee for my group early enough for us to all have coffee while waiting for our super-early Uber ride to the airport. Thank you to a super staff!!”
“Talk about a great stay! The rooms were a great size, the whole hotel very clean, and each room had a sliding glass door either opening into the central area (where the pool is located) or to the parking areas. We stayed for a business trip and I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the Sonesta hotel, this having been my first time staying at one of their locations. The staff was quite helpful, even providing a few suggestions for activities in the area. My ONLY complaint is that they don't provide a complimentary continental breakfast, but with the great location, multiple breakfast options are a short trip away. Plenty of businesses, restaurants, and things to do within a 5 minute car ride, just off of the interstate. Despite the proximity to I-75, once you're in your room the outside world melts away and it's quiet. I rather enjoyed the curved couch with ottoman and the television that swivels for easy viewing from either the couch or bed. If I'm ever in this area again, I'll stay at this hotel again!”

“Wow!! This place is VERY comfortable. Love how clean it is, also such a convenient area, your not that far from Hamilton Place mall. Staff was very nice and welcoming, And I also love how there is a kitchen, a full size refrigerator, and the microwave. It seems like some extended days don’t even Include if it’s not one thing it’s another . Definitely would recommend to people who need somewhere to stay for long-term. Also has a washer and dryer! “I stayed on Dec 19, 2025 on my way to Texas. Checked in around 10pm. Jay was the attendant and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Answered my questions with a smile and welcoming attitude! I am positive at this time of year he has had a rough shift yet he never showed it! That speaks volumes for his work ethic as well as the motel.
I have Multiple Sclerosis and mobility issues. I had a ground floor room and while it was not a handicap unit it was very accessible.
The room had minor issues but was very welcome for two travelers and a demanding Yorkie. She loved having two beds to go from.
I checked out around 7:30 the next morning and Jay was there again. It was nice to be able to say goodbye and thank him for his hospitality. As I was leaving he even gave me a Merry Christmas. If I am this way again and need a place to sleep I will come back.
I see the negative reviews but my experience was a positive one and I believe Jay as well as Motel 6 should be recognized for that.
Job well done and thanks for a decent place to lay my head overnight.”

“We are Gold members and only stay at Hamptons. This Hampton has such friendly wonderful staff. We were welcomed as Gold members and given our complimentary gift. Everyone went above and beyond. The room was absolutely spotless. Everything was updated and in good working order. The breakfast area was clean with friendly workers and typical for a Hampton. Would definitely stay here again and plan to.”
