“No problem with the store, only wish there were more steak/chicken options and had more in stock. Otherwise great store! My wife and I can't find better grapes, blueberries, or milk anywhere else”
“Bad service in bakery. Promised me a cake ordered on the 29th of September to be picked up the next day after lunch. Call me the next day to tell me they don’t have a decorator. I offered to pick one out of the cooler , buy the kit and decorate it myself. They said they couldn’t do that. I was up a tree. My granddaughter’s birthday was Sunday evening. I went to the one on McGrady Drive and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. She even apologized for Food City’s bakery on Ocoee Crossing. I told her it was not her fault. Never shop this bakery again. After speaking with Lafonda on Monday September 30, 2025 she explained that sometimes they do not have a cake decorator. It’s sad. I really liked the cake I picked. I settled for something else from another Food City.Thank you Lafonda. You are the best!”
“Good store. Convenient. Had a good sale on steaks. We were looking for T bones, but there wasn’t much of a selection. My wife asked the butcher if they had more in the back? They brought out a stack of packaged steaks. They were priced about $5 per pound lower than the competition.
They were delicious.

“I always use stonemill steak seasoning from Aldi. I haven't been able to find it for a couple of months. Otherwise I would give a five star review. Prices and food quality is great compared to other grocery stores.”

“Our experience was good. The place was extremely clean, which was a good sign. The service was exceptional, and the food was authentic Mexican. The tacos were my favorite, and I also ordered the 'Torta de Carne Asada,' which was delicious. I did have to add some salt to my food, but that was fine with me. The taco tortillas needed to be dipped more into the oil because they were a little dry. Their horchata drink is more Central American than Mexican, but it is still delicious. For two people, I paid around $45, which was a little pricey but worth it.”

“To get a discount on fuel, you need to enter the numbers from your receipt after making a purchase at the Food City store. I didn't figure it out right away either. Thanks to the girl who worked there and was at the cash register. She gladly showed me how to do it.”

“Food City is hard to beat for consistency and quality. Some items are more pricey than elsewhere but I try to stick to the sales and the store brands. Friday, Saturday only sales are usually very good compared to typical grocery prices these days.”

“Went here for the first time today and I was so glad I did( Now I have somewhere to go and get my African food items). Met the owners who are some of the nicest people I've ever met. I almost didn't find the store, so here is a tidbit of info to help you locate it...It is right behind the "Smoothie King". Store is located in the same building.”
“I've always been drawn to this place and no, it's not because it's right across from the winery.Or is it.. ? No it's definitely the tools.. I love tools and there is a bin in the back of the store with all kinds of off brand stuff that u need to buy. I've never had anything break (like every single thing I buy from harbor freight).Plus they have food and other random stuff that other stores don't carry. 1156 bulbs are nothing to most folks but I need em and this store has them.”
“The Dollar General on Georgetown road, the staff is wonderful they would do anything to help you they're very friendly and you actually get to know them. If you were seeing this dollar general before the new manager took up for it was horrible I would have had it being that girl walking in and taking over that store it was so just messed up! They do try very hard to keep it clean and the parking lot's always clean I mean it is a really clean Dollar General and I appreciate that. My only problem is and it's just not that Dollar General it's all of them here in Cleveland and it's actually the company itself they run ads you know sell ads and stuff but then none of the Dollar generals have that product and you know stock when you go to get it that week That's very aggravating also every time I go to one and I mean all of them here in Cleveland it shows one price but when you go and pay for it it's actually more and that's very frustrating because sometimes people are budgeted and they are walking there so like $10 and they think that's what they're spending and it comes out to be four or $5 more that's a problem. that yes I love my Dollar General up here and the girls are fabulous it's the company their self that's not that I'm happy with. Thank you girls!”

“This was by far my best retail shopping experience ever! The employees didn't just point me to the items I needed but took me to each item, made suggestions for items that would work for what I needed and overall made me feel valued and welcomed. “I was just in this store and experienced a medical emergency and the staff was wonderful and very helpful.....they called EMS to assist and there was also another female customer who assisted me also....the employees & other customers were VERY helpful and tried to get me help as well as trying to get me further assistance and help me stay calm ....Thank You Dollar General Staff & Bradley County EMS for all your assistance in my time of need. “I wish when u do a food delivery and the store picks the food that they check dates & Quality of items . When u are a truck driver getting food delivered you can’t return items if expired , too close to date , or produce is bad . I gave a 4 star because the delivery person was awesome and the food picking wasn’t her fault. We received bad bananas, bread item that expire in 2 days and even meat . I guess the shoppers that work at this Walmart like eating food like this at there house .”

“It's definitely just your standard/normal Dollar General....I have to say that I've experienced some ruder than just the normal "I'm having a bad day" type of employees quite often. The worst one being an actual manager ?? I haven't actually been treated so badly by a manager in my life at any store for that matter...or anyone at an actual DG either. Not sure if that particular manager still holds employment there or not. The incident referenced that I experienced was around December sometime of last year ? but I thought it was important and something worth mentioning tho...”

“Excellent breakfast! This place has the best breakfast in all of Cleveland and surrounding areas, in my humble opinion. A hidden gem! Food is always fresh and the bacon biscuit is so so good. I highly recommend this place if you haven't tried it. The place has a gas station but it's not gas station food as they serve real food there!
Every time I've been there before they open, there were always people waiting outside on the place to open so they can order breakfast. It's that good!”
