“Nice store, clean, well stocked, bought several things, just limited in what they have. Not like the normal US Groceries. Am happy with the quality of what I bought. Produce was fresh prices were good. It’s my fifth visit to an Aldi so I wouldn’t call myself an Aldi shopper. Each visit was in a different city. Overall pleasant but will probably spend more and go back to Publix, then in a year or so try Aldi again. Love the concept just not ready to change.”
“I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Trader Joe’s! Especially Janie- the friendliest and most helpful employee they have and she is truly an expert in all things wine!!! She makes the the 30 min drive to the store worth it for me each time. I have learned so much from her and their store is so lucky to have her. She truly feels like a friend at this point. I miss her being solely in the wine department! I hope she can transition back to that role :)”

“Everything is wonderful here! I always hear people saying publix is too expensive. It's not! It's how you shop and this places bogo deals can fill a shopping cart full for right at $100. That's my experience when buying bogo and juggling my dinner list for the week.”

“I'm new in town and was looking for a Farmer's Market. A friend told me about Linda's. The store is great. They have a large selection of both fruits & vegetables. It is spacious, clean & even the teenagers working were friendly & helpful! :) I'm very excited to have found such jewel. And those cotton candy grapes were amazing”
“My go to place for most of my grocery purchases. You never know what they will or won’t have and each store carries different products so it is a little different than a traditional grocery store.”
“It's a unique shopping experience. It has everything like a grocery store and is stocked like a club warehouse. The prices are discounted and there's name brands and not as well-known brands. The meat department had an abundance of nice-looking steaks and chicken. The produce department had plenty to select from, yet the items weren't displayed in a way that enticed a purchase. I would recommend a visit.”

“This store is always clean and I love the new remodel with the bigger deli and Starbucks! I will say though, the new Chinese food is not great, I was so excited to try it and I’m really not that picky but it was kind of awful. They give you a really tiny amount as well. The people behind the deli are as sweet as can be though!”
“This particular Publix was the very first Publix we visit. Now we experienced several in different areas. Publix employees are the nicest grocery store employees you'll ever find. ALL THE STORES!!! Totally amazing how they manage this level of customer service oriented employees. They are a little more expensive than other stores, but their employees make the pain a little easier to deal with.”
“We are regular Aldi customers. We normally shop at the Ooltewah location but decided to shop at the Aldi Gunbarrel Rd. location since we were in the area. As usual, Aldi didn't disappoint! Great selection at an even better price!”
“They have a good selection of items. Only problem is sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for and there's hardly anyone around to ask. There's never anyone at the customer service desk. The cashiers are always busy. The last time I was in, the friendliest people were in the seafood department but they can't help with the rest of the store. If you know what you need, then it's a great place to go if not you're out of luck”

“Food City keeps the right number of cashiers working. I rarely have to wait for more than a minute or two to be checked out. That's important customer service to me.”
“Finding a place that's good on prices and that has an in store butcher nowadays is becoming harder and harder to come by. It's very nice to know exactly what is ground up in your hamburger so when you get it home and cook it half of it doesn't evaporate and what left doesn't smell like death warmed over like other places mystery meat tends to do. Would rate 5 stars over all but even the best places seem to have 1 employee that just can't help be rude..... 99% great place”
“This store always has friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable associates. It's worth monitoring their sales, because occasionally there's really good deals. I've also always been pleased with the quality of their prepared food.
However, for the last 6-7 years, the price point on individual groceries here are generally about 20% higher than comparable stores who carry the exact same brands. There are better options within several miles.
I highly recommend this store for the shopping experience which is why the 5 star review, but if you live on a budget like myself, there are several stores in a 2 mile radius where you won't sacrifice quality for cheaper prices.
Still keep an eye out for sales. They occasionally have terrific deals for fresh poultry or seafood.”
“Truly an amazing place with a great variety of produce selection. starfruit, kumquat, purple potatoes, coconuts, organic ginger, fresh Aloe, baby banana, a variety of peppers, basil and more. If you are looking for black salt, fenugreek seed (mehti), turkish figs, specialty flours of all kinds and amazing indian spices then this is your place. They also have frozen items, indian snack packs and imported cookies. The staff are also very helpful!”
“This Food City is huge. But today, I couldn't get 4 of the things on my list. I found several empty spots on shelves.
The store wasn't busy when I visited, but there were a couple of people in line at the ONE open checkout lane”
“I have rated this place before ...they get four stars this time for not making me check myself out with a large buggy of groceries. I'm tellin' ya...if they would not have checked me out, I would have left that buggy and went across the street to Publix.”

“If you shop at Food City & have a rewards card registered, Wednesdays can be very, very beneficial in getting the cheapest gas prices in the Chattanooga area. To accomplish your gas purchase easily at the pump, you will need you value card to scan, but even without it, if your phone number was used in the registeration, then providing that information makes it easy also.”

They do have tables inside to eat and the water fountain is in the back near the restroom.

“The mush room is truly a hidden gem an amazing experience and great products I love their alcohol alternative mushroom drinks they have a smoke room you can roll up and lounge in it's top notch the best gummies in town for sure! you gotta check this place out if you haven't already!”

“Huge selection of meat substitutes… biggest variety that I’ve ever seen in one market! The Mennonite produce is STUNNING!!! The market itself is set in a beautiful community, staff and fellow patrons here are lovely. It’s a very unique grocery shopping experience. If you’re vegetarian, The Village market should definitely be on your radar.”
