“Was surprised to come to this location (I live in FL), first thing, I was brought a bottle of water (surprise 1), the tech was professional, to the point, did not try to up sell services, which was nice, guided me to the stall, then two other techs came out, all doing different things and working together to get me out of there. It took, literally less than 10 minutes. Perhaps a bit longer as all info had to be updated to n their system. Overall a great experience. I came here because they opened at 7am, glad I did.”

“I have found my new Mechanic shop. They are efficient and definitely have no plans to overcharge or charge for services not needed. I originally talked to the wife, who was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient. When I dropped my car off, I met the husband who, others, had complained about not being very friendly. He was just very serious about his craft. Im ok with that. The wife made up for it with her personality. Besides, I am very pleased with the work he did and not too expensive. I went on to complete my 18 hr. round trip road trip to Houston with no further issues with my car. They even stayed open an extra 30 mins. Until my husband was able to pick my car up.”

A car that had sat too long and had multiple issues.I found them to communicate well, assure that each step of the extensive needed work was approved, and they ultimately took care of everything. I know that Jason would be proud of how Candice has carried on the business after his untimely departure to Heaven. I think that ladies might well be nervous about bringing cars into shops sometimes, but they might feel better if they knew a wonderful lady owns and runs this one? They also loved on my dog, CrashtheLawDog. Anyway, I brought them a big problem and they came through for me. Now that restored car is going off to become a missionary kid’s very first car. If there are not going to be any towels it would be nice to have a sign that says "Sorry, washing machine out" or something where you don't waste time trying to find someone to ask them where the towels are. Or out of the sprays. I try to keep an old towel in my floorboard just in case.”

“I went in for oil change, and I learned today that I have an air filter under my dashboard. The team provided a great service for me after seeing a YouTube video on this particular service. They found an air filter in inventory in a box never opened. The best thing is that the change in the filter aided the engine light to go out. No other service team at the dealership or car service shop has found the cause of the engine light so I give special thanks to the Valvoline team. I spent more than intended, but I left a happy customer.”

“I’d gotten a tire replaced here a month ago after the ice storm, I had a warranty on the tire and this Monday I busted that tire hitting a curb (oops). I originally called the Walmart closer to my house (Winchester) and they told me I had to order my tire online yet Raven, the manager at Collierville had ordered it for me and shipped it to the store just a month prior. So I did what they said and had it shipped. It came in around 4pm on Wednesday. I zoomed home and called Collierville to see if they could squeeze me in cause at this point it was almost 5pm. Raven worked to get me in and get my tire fixed. Everything was going fine until it came to the warranty and refund. Ms. Matilda, Ms. Melanie, Terrance and two other gentlemen whose names I didn’t get, were BEYOND helpful! They really went above and beyond for me to work out the issues with the warranty and make sure I was taken care of and everything was done properly. At the end of the day I only spent $48! They were all so kind and patient staying well after the auto center had closed to make sure everything was done correctly. Not sure if it’s Walmarts training (doubt it) or if this group happened to be some of the nicest people I’d never encountered but it was a 10/10 experience. Their costumer service was amazing and I truly appreciate everything they did for me that evening. Thanks again to Ms. Melanie, Ms. Matilda, Terrance and the other two guys! “Gateway open up at 7:30 I was there at 6:15 second person in line this is the gateway on Covington Pike. It was about six people behind me, I no businesses get behind but every one that was up there for their services has left, if they was backed up do you think they should have let me know then... So that I can make a decision whether to leave my truck or not. It would have been nice .....haven't heard anything this is really sad, it's 2:30 they close at 5:30 u tell me that they won't even get a chance to look at or call me to let me no something it tell me what's the problem it's obvious that they won't be able to fix it today.... Oh this is my second time in the last 2 weeks going up there for something they didn't fix..... So customer don't be surprised to here about the bad service that you are capable of receiving at gateway”

“I'm surprised at the reviews. They told me it would be a 2.5 hour wait. We were visiting someone at the hospital across the street so went back there to wait, but I took the car, so they called me less than an hour later and said they were ready. I went back over. The guys were all working the whole time (at some garages, like PepBoys, they're just standing around while one works). I stood on the other side of the wall in the work area so I could ask questions, which annoys some mechanics, but these guys weren't annoyed.They only charged $10 to plug our tire, whereas I'd gone to Firestone near there who told me I HAD to have a new tire for no less than $150, so Walmart saved me $140.”

“Needed Saturday service for my son who was in town from college for the weekend. Gateway is not a place we typically use for no other reason other than it’s a little out of the way for me. I showed up at 7:30 and Travis helped me. He was great. He kept me updated on the progress and explained everything perfect. Had a problem they didn’t have time to address and told me what we needed to do until we could get it back in on his next visit home. A very good experience and i highly recommend Travis if you take your vehicle in.”
