749 N Main St, CovingtonWe have visited twice now and the service and food were outstanding. My husband who normally eats very little cleaned his plate both times. My favorite item so far was the black eyed peas- they tasted just like my grandmother had cooked them! We plan to return and try some of their other specialities- like gumbo. I remembered eating at Pappy and Jimmies as a child in Memphis- I loved the lobster tank and lobster bibs, nothing like nostalgia and they have some memorabilia to see in this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go- prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding!
