My GSD had a routine spay at another vet and I kept feeling like something was off. After several visits with her previous vet, I came to The Pet Hospital Lakeland for a second opinion. Sarah, the receptionist, was quick to get me in. Dr. Cardot and her assistant, Becka, listened to me throughly. My poor girl had a severe internal infection of her uterine stump and with the staff’s thorough examination was able to do emergency surgery to remove the infection and got her on the correct meds. We are on day 6 of post op and my furbaby is doing so well! It is night and day between how my GSD is doing pre and post emergency surgery. All of the staff working there took such great care of her and I was already breathing easier with her health in their hands. I don’t think I can ever say thank you enough.
