“We literally just left there driving back to Mississippi from Michigan. After we pulled off my brother told me the cashier to check him out gave him his coffee on the house as her good deed for the day. Something so simple, but for a long drive made a huge impact. Very nice experience!”

“We stopped here for gas and to use the bathroom. It was pretty busy, but there were plenty of pumps and they were all in good working order. We felt like we got a good price. The bathrooms were clean, although I think the sensor on the automatic faucet was broken- we couldn’t get it to work for more than a millisecond, so it was pretty difficult to wash our hands.We ended up getting some snacks- they had a really wide selection of souvenirs and treats and candy- especially some local brands that seemed interesting. It was fun to browse the merchandise. The cashier was personable and joked around with us and made us feel welcome.We also got some fried chicken and okra from the deli counter there. The chicken was plump and juicy and tender, but the fried okra had gotten a little soggy- I like it more crispy, but it was what you’d expect from fried okra at a gas station restaurant. My husband still gobbled it up.”
