“I love this little grocery! It's similar to shopping at Aldi, with lots of store brand and some name brands. A dozen quart size canning jars were almost $14 at Walmart, $11 here. They consistently have better prices on meat and produce. Employees are always friendly here, rarely any wait. It's a much more pleasant experience than Walmart if you have a simple shopping list. Also, if you've tried to buy fresh bread if ANY kind from Walmart in recent months, then you know it doesn't exist. We've been coming here for bread and buns and they have consistently been very fresh!! Always spotlessly clean, too! No complaints here.”

“Came home from shopping at the Dowelltown Dollar General and didn't notice until several hours later that I had failed to pick up one of my shopping bags. It was late the next evening before I stopped back by. I dreaded explaining what had happened. I told the associate I had accidentally left a shopping bag with the two items. He reached to the counter behind him picked up the bag and I was on my way. This was a day and a half later! Now that's service.”
