“Prices are fair on some stuff and high on others,the produce is always good fresh, Then we wanted to get some chicken and was told that we had to order it the day before. What??!! NOW this is in the "Vonore Store," So what's up with that ? Does anyone know? But overall I like shopping there.”
“This store was way better than the one in Cleveland and they even had a meat department! It was organized and HUGE. The first thing I noticed was the little seasonal section at the front. It was actually seasonally appropriate and well designed. They just had so much stuff and so, so cheap! My buy of the day were those giant Naked strawberry banana for only 2.49!! The cashier was fast and efficient and really kind. We hit her with an overflowing cart and she didn't get irritated with us. Love this place, worth the drive to Athens!!”
“Expensive. I go mostly for the unsalted fresh made tortilla chips and tortellini (they carry the brand we like and they often run sales on it). I definitely can't afford to shop there for everything. Thought I might pick up a few things when I went for tortilla chips recently. Holy moly! A regular small bag of chocolate chips was $6+.”

“Good store and alternative to the supermarkets in Madisonville. There's not many other places I would shop at. The prices are relatively good and good savings too (get a valucard) The produce department has a quality selection of produce and that department in the store trains new hires well. Would come back here again”
“Selection is dated. 200% produce guarantee is nice, but they generally just have you replace it and do not refund unless you ask. The produce was moldy on my visit and it took me a while to find a replacement without mold.”
“This store has got some really great prices. I enjoy shopping there and the employees seem to be happy and it shows in how they treat customers. The store is always clean and super organized.”
“This might just be the biggest and nicest DG I've ever been in and I've been in several in the area. I wish it was closer to where we live. Our local store is better than when it started out, but this store is like night and day in comparison. For a DG, the selection of products was awesome and the shelves had plenty of stock. They even had fresh meats and some beer! Also more fresh veggies and fruits too. You could just about avoid a regular grocery store with this place. Stop in if you're in the area!”
“They have really good fresh meats and produce. You can find name brands at discount pricing, but it changes frequently, so you may not find it next time. The store always appears clean and organized. The staff is mostly friendly.”

The staff is always so eager to assist if needed not to mention how friendly anyone I have encountered. Management should be so proud of how efficient all their employees are.”

“It's a great little store. The old owners were rude and acted like they were doing you a favor for allowing you to shop there. The new owners are from India and are very pilot and act like they are grateful for you being there”
“I can just jump in, get what I need and jump out! Zoom, zoom home.. Little secret? If the parking lot is too packed I won't go in. It just takes too long to get through the line and they have 2 registers but only one is ever open!! All in all, dollar general serves a purpose.”

“0700 appt. She gave me a door right at 0730 as soon I bumped dock door 12. The unloader started unloading . Out by 0830 . Nice and quick ? ? I will be coming to unload here in the future. No room to park overnight”
“This is a hometown store, where everybody knows everybody. The staff are always friendly, helpful, greets you by name, or remembers that you hadn't been in the store for a while. The store is always clean, great prices, love the dollar aisle.”

“Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are affordable. They are a godsend to Englewood,considering theirs no grocery store in town.It seems as of lates their selections have been becoming less for items. I'm hoping their not going to close shop soon.”
