“Really amazing prices on things! I was very pleasantly surprised. Food looked very fresh and the store and bathrooms were clean. Lot was also maintained well, no trash all over. I'll be back!”
“People could be nicer. I had a bunch of groceries that were rung up and bagged. Some of the bags were heavy and instead of helping me put some if the bags in the buggy, they turned around and started chatting with the girl at the next register over. One was the third key manager. I am a manager and would never turn away from a customer if they were still at the register.”

“I stopped in at this particular store for the first time today. First, a big Thank You to all employees working to serve us in this pandemic. I had to leave before I could make a purchase, but must say wow! I've never seen a Dollar General Store so well organized and so clean! Shopping aisles were clear of clutter, which makes it safer and more convenient for shoppers. I'm in the area often and plan to stop in when I'm in Graysville. I give them five stars across the board.☺”

“I have been going to the Dollar General in Athens for about 2 months now. Every time I go in there the young guy follows me around the store. I guess he thinks I am stealing. Or he wants a date !!!! I have kids older than he is. I am probably good 40 years older than him. But I wonder what this boy would do if he actually did see someone stealing? He can’t put his hands on a customer, and he only weighs 150 lbs . I don’t think Athens City is going to come tires smoking or guns blazing over dollar store merchandise. I wonder if he has thought bout that? A store wrongly accuses a customer of Theft, that’s one heck of a liability. And it’s so annoying getting followed, every time I turn the corner, he’s there. Not very good at being a loss prevention dude. Those cats at Walmart could teach him a few things. They r the pros”
