I will not be coming back to this Belk. The service was terrible! Walked by 8 employees without any acknowledgement. Finally asked an employee if they had any of this certain brand in stock (most Belk stores) do! Her reply was nope and then proceeded to walk away! Do not shop at this store on a Wednesday before noon..

My friend and I shopped there this past Saturday. I had a gift card I had not used so I bought a pair of pants that was on sale & a fingertip towel; we could not find anyone in clothing for assistance and also bedding & intimates; no workers. there was a lady that was putting out merchandise in clothing that did a price check for me. Also sweet young lady named Albya who had great customer service in Mac checked us out.
She is a wonderful plus for Belk Store as customer service is hard to find these days !!

The sales associate in women's intimates could have been faster. The line grew and I expected another associate to ask customers to check out at another counter. We walked downstairs to another area to check out. I would have appreciated better customer service.

Went to the Belk in Franklin Tn. Searched around for somewhere to checkout, finally ask the perfume counter if I could check out there and she said yes and then ignored me. Walked around the counter and started talking to another person, I waited about 10mins and then searched the store for another register with an employee, found one and she was talking non stop to another lady, finally the lady walked off so I asked if could check out and she told me to wait a minute and then turned to talk to another employee! At this point I had had enough waiting since I had been trying to find someone to check me out for over 30 mins! I put all my items on the counter and told them I had been waiting to checkout long enough and the y could keep the crap I would not be making a purchase! So rude to be ignored and why is there no one working at registereoto check you out? Never shop here anyway just went on for the sewing down south collection collab!

I don’t know what I was expecting from a department store but everyone was so rude here. Seemed like i was an inconvenience for asking questions and not knowing where to check out. The store layout isn’t clear at all.
I work in retail too and I get how draining it can be but I shouldn’t have to feel bad for asking questions to the person whose job it is to answer them.

No response to this email I sent Belk:
Immediate Attention Required: Unjustified Order Cancellation
Dear Belk Customer Service,
I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with my recent experience.
On Friday, your website showed that the item I wanted for Mother’s Day was available in-store. I drove 14 miles based on that information, only to spend over an hour walking both floors of your store and asking multiple sales associates—none of whom were able to help me locate it. I was finally advised to place an online order for in-store pickup, which I did under the promise it would be ready in 20 minutes. After waiting over an hour, I gave up and left.
Now, days later, I receive a vague cancellation notice with no explanation—yet the same item is still being offered online, and I can see that 14 orders were just fulfilled for it.
This is completely unacceptable. After the inconvenience and wasted time, I expect Belk to take responsibility and ship the item to my home immediately at no additional cost. Please confirm this will be done.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Wowwww!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would, the whole time my family and I were in the luggage and kitchen sections, there was an older woman with white hair that was aggressively standing over us every few feet we went, she basically acted like we were trying steal when we’re just looking at things. She wasn’t following anyone else so it made us feel very uncomfortable and awkward, we just left and will take our business elsewhere, maybe she can look again at the employee handbook and find the section over how to actually be a decent and friendly employee. With people like her working there you all will keep losing customers.

So disappointed in Belks. I ordered boots online for my daughter for Christmas. They did not have her size in the local store. The boots arrived in a large shipping box along with another pair of shoes. My daughter’s gift was out of their original packaging and thrown in the shipping box unwrapped. There was nothing to protect them from getting scratched up and moving around in the box. It is obvious they were the floor sample that has been tried on by many others.
When I purchase something for myself or as a gift I expect NEW, not previously owned or worn. This is unacceptable Belks!!!!
