The Franklin Theatre is a wonderful, amazing, and beautiful venue. It is a small, intimate, comfy, and quaint little retro theater with an art deco-inspired historic feel from the 1930s and 40s. It hosts live concerts, movies, and fun events. The sound is great, and stars interact with the audience. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is located conveniently on historic Main Street with plenty of good restaurants nearby, and there are no huge crowds or traffic after the show. The theater has concessions and alcohol, including pizza and popcorn, though the pizza was not very good and buttering the popcorn was difficult. The seats are old, narrow, and uncomfortable, requiring wider individuals to squeeze in. Some attendees noted that loud talking during concerts can make the show hard to enjoy. Other than that, it is a beloved and favorite venue.
Nicely preserved theatre on the Main Street of Franklin. The acoustics were good for a songwriter’s showcase and the space small enough for the performances to feel intimate. After 17:00 it’s free to park on the street outside for more than 2 hours, and there’s a large multi-storey around the corner.

Very enjoyable the actors were very talented, the scenes were dark and moody as you would expect from an Edgar Alan Poe Speakeasy. During intermissions the actors served the crowd and you had a chance to talk with them. We would do this again.
