After 1-year we received a surplus check with paper mail describing the “bonus” check we received back and a week later we get deficit notice that we have to pay $200 more from our base mortgage. Would’ve really appreciated a phone call to describe why this is happening and why mortgage can just go up all the sudden from original understanding.”
