“The problem is, once your loan is closed it gets moved to a "service center" located in NJ. Unfortunately that is who services the Franklin American loans so it is their service that can be disappointing it seems. But as far the process in getting the loan, Franklin American in Franklin,TN did a great job with my original loan and my refi. And so far my loan at the NJ customer service center has gone fine as well, no issues.”

“We had a great experience working with Cross Country Mortgage to buy 2 properties, a regular property and a 1031 exchange property. Unexpectedly, we found the regular property first before the 1031 relinquished property sold, which left us worried that we wouldn’t be able to buy this property that was just what we wanted. Tiffany Vaughn Cole, our great real estate agent, recommended that we talk to CCM to see if there was any way they could help us get both this 1st property and yet still qualify for a loan when the 1031 kicked off later. Shawn explained that they could and explained the different loans involved. We chose to trust that it would happen as he said. And it did! We also gained an advantage due to CCM’s excellent local reputation. Our offer which included a CCM loan with a 12-day closing beat out an all-cash offer with a standard 30-day closure. Our understanding was that this was because the seller BOTH preferred a shortened closing and, based on CCM’s reputation, believed the loan would come through as promised, which it did. Throughout the process, CCM was very responsive to all questions at all odd hours, very courteous and friendly, and very informative. Shawn and Heather taught us several things that we didn’t know, and which definitely worked to our advantage. We highly recommend them.”
