It's a good place. Sometimes they don't buy for fair prices.

A review for this place is long overdue as I’ve been a customer multiple times and each time have been met with experiences that were less than positive. However, I sold clothes with them for the first time this weekend and the fact that they just throw away clothes that are not picked up (not even to donate) is extremely disappointing. I dropped clothes off after 3pm so was told to pick up the next business day. I understand policy is policy. However being understanding and having some level of customer service should also be standard. And if I could talk to someone on the phone after calling multiple times and leaving messages, this would have been avoided. But, it seems they do not answer their phones at least after 4pm. Again, garnishing (as they call it) clothes with no warning is very wasteful and honestly just sad. Could very easily find a place to donate to if they wanted to but they don’t. Which is not surprising from the terrible attitudes of the employees that work here. Again I understand policy is policy however if you are unable to pick your clothes up and call to talk to someone to discuss this, I would expect some level of contact or understanding. I’ve been to every once upon a child I’ve been close enough to visit and this is location is by far the worst even without this situation - such a negative environment to be in. Especially after this I will never go back to this location and once upon a child in general for allowing their stores to just throw away clothes.

Wish I could give them a zero. The laziest business alive. I delivered a huge bag of high-end children’s clothes with tags on it and because I put the clothes in a lightly tied plastic bag inside of nice shopping tote. they refused to open up the plastic bag to look at the clothes. Absolutely will never come here again.

I was happy with the amount of my items they bought and found a decent selection to buy in store. Lots of shoes! Older sizes in boy clothes have more limited stock and variety, though. I will likely shop there more in the future as opposed to their competitor around the corner. (I encountered polite and helpful employees when I dropped off on a Friday but a curt older woman when I picked up on a Saturday.)

I have never in my life posted a google review, but my experience at this place has just been eating at me, and honestly, I want to save other people the heartache. Do not sell to this place. To start, I have never been to or sold to Once Upon a Child and the website has no info for beginners. Luckily, I did some Tik Tok research and learned that they prefer clothes folded flat in bins. That is exactly what I did. I had my basket ready, all laid out neatly (except the onesies because they were too long so the legs were folded under a little bit) MY BAD. I even had the sets together like they want. I had dropped a basket off prior, so when I laid my basket on the counter all the lady in the glasses could say was since I was a prior customer, I should know they do not like clothes folded. She started going through some while complaining how were they were folded and not laying flat only to say oh yeah you did lay them flat. Not a huge deal but why be so rude for no reason. It’s time for the store to either close down or for the employees to find a job that doesn’t make them such miserable people. I ended up shopping a little bit once I dropped my bin off and a young boy with glasses rang me up. Something happened (that was not his fault) so the ticket got messed up. Both ladies at the counter were so frustrated with him it was pitiful. I waited patiently while they very rudely helped fix the problem. (Find a new job kid). I get it, the job is stressful, but holy cow, get a new system or hire more employees. Or simply put specific instructions on what you want from your customers (on the door on the website). The icing on the cake was when the lady in the glasses DEMANDED i come back the next day to pick up my stuff. They hate the customers and it shows. They don’t pay you enough for your items anyways. 10/10 not worth it. Please don’t waste your time. I made the mistake of driving 45 mins and didnt realize if you didnt come at a certain time, you would have to come back the next day. I ended up having to come 3 times and it honestly gave me chest pain. I don’t know how they are still in business.

The employees are mean and miserable here. And the managers/owner doesn’t even care. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go right down the street to Kid-to-Kid instead where they are pleasant and respectful to their customers.

Drove 45 minutes to this location to bring clothes to drop off. No where on their website did it say to bring clothes in a plastic tote or basket. So got turned away because clothes were in a bag. What a joke. Store is an absolute mess. Employees are rude. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time coming here especially if you have to drive a considerable distance.

I think this store is such an asset to the community. I have sold to them and bought beautiful clothes for my granddaughter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the instructions for selling are in their voicemail.
