“The place is in an excellent location. Very close to the main street.
Nearby activities: Close to the cable car and restaurants
Safety: No news
Walkability: Completely. It is very busy, you have to be willing to walk in all directions.
Food & drinks: There is variety, ice cream parlors, restaurants, game rooms, pizzeria, wine sales.”
“Only thing I could say bad is it is a tad bit pricey, but easy walking distance to all of Gatlinburg, balcony on the creek, great service and the room was super clean, I am talking sniff the sheets and towels and you know clean when you smell it”

“Absolutely amazing Lodge located close to the main drag but far enough away from the noise. The beds were comfortable, we had a balcony overlooking the creek where we did see bears. The pools were amazing and they have this nice patio with stairs that go right to the creek. Loved our stay.”

“I loved everything and OMG, the view!! The coziness and the comfort of the room combined with the ease of checking in and out made the whole experience perfect. I can only imagine how extraordinary Buckberry Creek Lodge was before the fire.”
“Here from FL for week long vacation. Each condo is different and are privately owned. Please don't let the drive up here scare you. I came end of March in a Honda pilot and my friend in Honda civic had no issues. There are a few narrow turns so just go slow to make sure no one is coming in opposite direction. My hard had no problem making it up in the hill even in the rain. We actually thought it was fun”

“We stayed at 3 Little Bears condo in Summit and it was fantastic 👏 The place was amazing, excellent location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge right at the Smoky Mountains national Park, the amenities were great, they have pool Robes and the bear decorations were beautiful, they even had hiking sticks to use during the stay. Booked through Magnolia vacation rentals, they also give 1 complimentary attraction ticket per day through your stay. Simply WOW! And saw real bears right outside the balcony 😍”
“This place is no more but my wife and I stayed there every time we went to Gatlinburg. Very historic and wonderful old hotel. We miss this place and was sorry to see it torn down.”

“Updated review this is still a great option you can't beat the price and the location. Most rooms are right on the stream you can hear the wonderful stream sound My room was clean and had a comfortable bed and two sinks just outside the door of the bathroom. Some small issues were the sink and shower drain seem to drain very slowly in the shades on the window don't close very tightly other than that I would definitely stay here again. There's a light breakfast with coffee and some juice options in a can. They used to have an evening wine and cheese reception but that went away I think around COVID time and hasn't come back it would be nice to see that back again. With your stay you do get 20% off the Smoky mountain house next door which I've eaten at several times and it's a good option I believe they have a discount for the Partons deli too. It's a pretty easy walking distance to the aquarium or mountain mall or pancake pantry is only about a half a mile or you can take the free trolley. There is a fire pit next to the stream and some picnic table options. Occasionally you'll see someone dipping their toes in the stream water. I do warn you that the bears are active in the area so keep that in mind leave any food out in your vehicle.”

“I really enjoyed my stay there. The room was clean, comfortable and housekeeping came each day. The location was wonderful. Walking distance to everywhere in Gatlinburg but not on a super busy, loud street. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was delicious. Biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, and pancakes all available plus the common choices like cereal, oatmeal, toast etc. They had three different juices and the OJ didn't taste like some of those instant drinks. They have a parking garage with ample spaces which is wonderful to keep your car out of the weather. But, it's not free. It's $16.25 for one night. The price for the room itself was reasonable enough to make up for it. It's a large building with 8 floors. Four of which are completely all guest rooms. They have rooms available on the lobby level and the mezzanine level also. Mezzanine level provides access to the pool and fitness center. There are only two elevators and they are slow. They get full quickly when people are checking in/out. The higher your floor the better chance for getting on one. We never were not able to get on one when it opened but we saw many others not be able to fit when they were checking in/out. They have an indoor and outdoor pool that is heated and was open when we were there the week of New Year's. They also had a jacuzzi. People were enjoying themselves each night. We were several floors up and could hear people down there but it was not too loud to be annoying and the hotel closed the pool promptly when it was time. The rooms all open to an inner hallway instead of outside, which seems safer, and each room has a balcony and chairs. People in the halls could be heard walking past but nothing too loud. Water pressure was fine. Mini fridge was really big. TV on the small size. They had a channel guide but the remote was confusing and I had trouble changing channels and trying to find what they actually subscribed to. I would certainly recommend staying here. I think from now on this will be my go to hotel in Gatlinburg. The four instead of five stars is for the parking fee, being able to hear people in the pool as some might find it annoying especially if they are close to it or retire for bed early, the too small TV, and confusing channel guide and remote and also for the, at times, slow and crowded elevators during check in/out. They also did not have an in room safe. But I recommend you give this place a chance and check it out. No place is perfect but this is a great place for the location and price!”
“I was surprisingly very happy with our room! The hotel look itself and the reviews made me skeptical. But it was GREAT!! We stayed on the backside 1st floor street view, and NEVER heard a vehicle or people. The bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) are super comfy!!! Although there were definitely some imperfections when it comes to looks, I can honestly say it was extremely clean!!! My husband and I will definitely stay again!!
Rooms: Room was extremely clean!! Beds very very comfortable!! Great TV size!!
Nearby activities: Wine tasting, lots of yummy restaurants, shopping and even a Walgreens for those few items you may have forgotten to pack!
Safety: Fully functioning door locks and zero safety concerns during our stay!
Walkability: Although it's at the end of the parkway, it is very quiet and we had no issues walking to restaurants or attractions during our stay.”

“Very friendly at the front desk! They're quick to get you anything that you need, and very helpful. Location is perfect for everything downtown Gatlinburg to walk to. Would definitely be back in the future!!”
“The hotel was clean and priced well for our trip being in June. The view of the Roaring Fork River was amazing. Very nice and secluded, yet still in walking distance from the strip. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a quiet peaceful retreat.”
“4 stars! Making repairs at time of our stay. The room I was in was very clean and had been updated. The jacuzzi tub was clean and enjoyable! Back stair case was my only concern. I love that it is back off the main strip but close enough to quickly be in town!”
“Great little rooms located in the heart of gatlinburg.. very convenient for walking around the town.. owned by a very nice indian family...would ?% stay here again”
