“3* is directed towards the owner. When you have been out shopping and walking, eating all day, you are ready to relax in your room. Maybe watch some of your favorite TV shows. I was not able to do this because the owner doesn't allow streaming devices. I fully understand the owners policy, even tho I emphatically disagree. You're only using the set as a monitor. To the owner: Streaming is current and will only increase in our future. This is a very nice property and excellent location. I don't want to see it lose out on future business.”

“Cute little coffee/snack shop at The Island. All the folks working there were very friendly and welcoming. So glad it was open before 10 am during the week before New Years!”

“Wow, what an unforgettable hotel. The Margaritaville Island Hotel is not just any hotel, it is an ultimate vacation experience! My family and I come to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area 2 or 3 times a year to get away from the city in Florida. We typically stay in 4-5 star chain hotels, and usually change it up every year because we just haven't found the perfect location. Every year we spend hours online trying to find things to do such as mountain, climbing, mountain, coasters, and all the things that pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. We have started to get tired of the same old thing. We have now found the perfect, ultimate resort hotel. The most important thing to me is cleanliness and service. This location gets five stars from a picky germaphobe mom. Most rooms have nice wooden style floors, very comfortable, beds, room, service, and great views. Each room has a Keurig coffee pot with a selection of coffees and real creamer, not the powder. Many rooms have beautiful electric fireplaces, that are easily operated. The rooms are bigger than any hotel that we have stayed in thus far in 16 years. Not to mention, the location is right inside of the island, which is the biggest and best amusement area in the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg area. It's so Easy to find if you just look for the giant neon Ferris wheel. The excellent service and attentiveness of the staff from the assistance at the front desk, to the very entertaining mixologist at the bar, to the valet reps with an EZ scan to get your Valet car ready typically in five minutes. What amazed me, is even the manager was out in front and was very accommodating and approachable to everyone. They did not hide in a room like so many of the other places we have stayed in. After staying at this fantastic Margaritaville, Island Hotel, you won't want to stay anywhere else, once you have stayed here. Get ready to be spoiled, and have an Amazing experience!”

“Easy check-in and friendly staff! Easy navigating in and out of property entrance. The free breakfast was better than I expected. Had an issue with noise in a room nearby during our stay but was relocated to another room promptly when I talked with front desk. Thanks for making our visit pleasant!Rooms: Very spacious and the suites have all the amenities you'd ever need.Nearby activities: Very close to many good restaurants, great shopping and lots of family activities.Safety: You can only access the building with your room key card.”

“The location makes it hard to turn left on Parkway, but other than that it was good there was free breakfast and it was delicious, you had to make your own waffle and if you didn’t pore enough batter the waffle could break but if you did it tasted delightful. No cockroaches, no staff issues, no mold, and no stains. And Ms.Sammy was very nice”

“Great stay! Clean comfy stay. Cry nice huge bathroom, with full length mirror and two sinks. Water pressure was better than my own house. You get a nice little porch to view the water park on the one side. There's a lazy river, slide and some kiddie pools. Hot tub and another pool inside. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Very pleased!!”

“We LOVE this place. I've stayed here numerous times. This was a first for my wife (celebrating our honeymoon). We love it do much, that we extended our honeymoon and extra day. The staff from check in to checkout were superior. Justin and the night manager were able to get us a discounted rate for our extended day. We love the buffet breakfast. (That is another reason we choose to continually stay here). Our room had the Jacuzzi tub, and it made the stay perfect. The only complaint that I can come up with, is the beds are a little on the firm side to our liking. Again, no ones fault, just our preference is a softer mattress. The view from the balcony is wonderful, and it's far enough from the parkway, that traffic noise is minimal. If your looking for an awesome staff, delicious breakfast, great view of the river, at an affordable price. Book now.Nearby activities: The location is at the very tail end of Piegeon Forge, so everything form Dolly Stampede to The Old Mill, to the Island is just a short drive. It's also 10 minutes from Gatlinburg.”

“01-15-2024 Friendly advice do not stay here. Front desk Manager, Mark is very rude and has a smart mouth. He was rude when we checked in but I was nice anyway and told him to have a nice night. We carry all our luggage and shopping bags in the cold and freezing rain to our room.We leave for site seeing and to play in the snow. We come back to our room and the heat isn't working. It's 25 degrees outside so you can imagine how cold it is in our room. Two gentlemen came in an out of our room 6 or 7 times trying to repair heater so by this time we are putting our coats, gloves, and hats on bc its so cold. We call Mark at front desk and he had the audacity to tell me that we were just trying to cause trouble for him and hangs up. So I call back he was argumentive and very rude. We were the ones cold, aggravated, blood pressure elevated and having to pack up 10 bags plus luggage and moving in the freezing weather to another room. I have never been talked to like that in all my 63 year's. Mark made it clear that it was not his problem and he didn't care if we were inconvenience or not He also stated that he didn't care who we called. I called customer relations and left a message. I want to see if they are as rude as Mark. Me and 23 church members were coming back in February. Guess what, another hotel will get our money. Sorry for the long post but I'm very hurt, upset and disappointed. MARK DOES NOT need to be in customer service on any level!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
