“I must say that this location is by far the best location I have ever purchased shoes from. The top notch customer service, attention to detail, the warm greetings upon walking in, the no pressure sales approach, the service goes far above par. I attribute this not only to the sales specialists at this location, but mainly to the management of this store. Kayla is by far the most nicest and professional manager for a shoe store I have ever met. She goes over the call the of duty to fulfill each customers requests and need and even if the request is beyond her control she still tries to find ways to accommodate and ensure that no customer leaves her store unhappy with the service that they were provided. I was able to experience first hand how not only she treated me, my wife and my mother, but how she was consistent in her service to everyone she came in contact with on what she described as being one of their most busiest days which was a new release day. She not only displayed this level of service but set the expectation for her team members to follow suit and you can tell how they did so willingly and with a pleasant attitude. For the record I literally drove an hour and half to come to this store because it was the only store that had the item I was looking for. Kayla was so gracious to ensure that the item was there for me and not only was I able to get the item but I bought other merchandise as well. When service is that good, it makes you want to spend your money and also come back. Thank you Kayla and Rivergate Champs Team! You guys need to perform some type of training module and send it out to all your stores in your network on what real customer service and customer success management is about. “I read reviews in order to understand how I can better serve my customers. Yes, there have been a few times I allowed myself to break. By this I mean I do not defuse a situation properly. Not because I lack respect nor because I am rude, it because I'm human and I'm not perfect.A few of these reviews, including the most recent, are not completely true. What they failed to mention is that I, for one, will normally do an exchange on worn shoes. And that I will call for approval to do a refund for any shoes that break our policy. Policy is not written by the store. It is written by the company. For a customer to get upset because we do our jobs thoroughly and is dishonest in their reviews is upsetting for me. But that is the nature of retail.I say all that to say this. We are all human with good days and bad. Therefore, if we have wronged you, allow us the chance to show you we do aim to please. But also, Please keep in mind we all make mistakes, miscommunication happens. we do this job because we want to serve people. But we also have to protect our company from fraudulent claims as well.”
“My daughter’s birthday is Friday and she wanted a pair of Nike Air Force 1’s! No shoe store in Bowling Green,KY had them and you couldn’t order them online or have them shipped to the store. So I searched other Foot Lockers and found a pair at Foot Locker in Rivergate. I was prepared to drive down there to pick them up. So I called that morning to make sure they had received my order. The employee asked me if I was coming there just for the shoes. My reply was yes. Instead of me driving down there he kindly offered to overnight them to our Foot Locker, but he took it a step further... once he had the tracking number he sent it to me so I would know that they had arrived. So not only did he save me money and time, he saved me having to call the store possibly numerous times to see if they had arrived at the store. It was a simply act of kindness that makes me recommend Foot Locker if you need an item that you can’t find locally!!!”

“It’s kind of weird how deserted the mall is nowadays. Finish Line is at the very end in the corner. They don’t carry nearly as many good shoes as they used to, but I made do. I will say that a girl came up and asked if I needed help and she was excellent! She gave me some great advice on basketball shoes.”
