“I will always go to this post office over any other. Came in with a package to send and they helped me to find a cheaper option!! It is so appreciated!! Thank you Maria for your help and guidance today!! Outstanding Staff!”
“I have lived at 209 Whitaker hollow rd for 21 years an I have to say that a young lady named Hannah has literally been the best mail carrier yet she always puts my pkg on my porch out of the weather she is always around the same time daily she is very pleasant glad to have her as a mail carrier”
“Easy to find, and drop off packages. Best part about this place oversized packages your don't have to wait in line to drop off, they leave a bin out front your can dump them in and leave.”
“Great friendly service at this post office location. I was greeted within a timely manner and the postal employee actually held a conversation with me. I will definitely be back when I need to mail something again.”
“i've only been here a couple times and i know nothing about the mail or postal service or stamps or anything. but everytime i come in they are so helpful and friendly and let me know exactly what to do! always such a pleasant experience :)”
“I have spoken with Melissa a few times over the last couple of years regarding lost packages and she has been super helpful and kind. This last incident involved a package that never made it to the Clinton post office and required some extra time and tracking. Melissa gave me her direct line and also contacted me twice to update me on the status of the package. She is very pleasant and efficient!”
“I had a great trip to the Fountain City Branch today, kind and respectful person tending to my needs. Yes they do tend to cram your mailbox full to the point of things being damaged, which sucks, but I believe this is due to not being allowed to pull into driveways to deliver at the door related to liability. No one wants to take an extra step these days when everyone is so critical, besides dog bites, risk of get shot trespassing, and robberies if they even think of stepping out of their vehicles.
Also, in the past we often had things sent to the wrong homes, but fortunately in our area we just deliver them in person to the correct home, however over time this seems to have lessened, thankfully. I feel this P.O. location has improved over the past year, but obviously the cramming is undesirable.
Also, before your accept all of these reviews as reflective of the employees at this location consider the persons leaving them. I have noticed that several are all or nothing type people. a 1 or a 5 review and nothing in between.”
“Easy and convenient though parking was a challenge. I was able to pop in, purchase some postcard stamps, apply them to my Clingmans Dome postcards and drop them in the slot.
There is very limited parking in this part of downtown Knoxville, but I found a quick spot nearby.”
“Here every day during the week. In and out, no muss or fuss. Great employees. Wonderful folks. Odd how they only have one kiosk when smaller Posts have two or three and some with none.”
“Great customer service from the woman working there. She helped me when I wasn't sure how to ship out an item since they were out of small flat rate boxes.-1 star because the USPS supplies are minimal.”
“Awesome service and great people! Supportive of small businesses and one of a kind. Mr. Lonas is a wonderful human and loves Andersonville. Thanks for all that you do!”
“This post office gets an extra star for being open before any other office & on my route to work. The clerk knows exactly what she's doing and was very quick about it.”
