Kroger in Hendersonville is a store that offers a wide variety of products and is generally appreciated for its cleanliness and friendly staff. Many customers find it to be a reliable "go-to" store, especially during their visits from out of town. The store has a well-stocked selection and includes amenities like a Starbucks, making shopping convenient and enjoyable for some. However, experiences with customer service vary. While some staff members are praised for their helpfulness, patience, and going above and beyond—such as an employee who assisted with carrying groceries and returned a forgotten umbrella—others report rude and unhelpful behavior from certain employees, particularly in the customer service area. Several reviews mention issues like rude behavior, refusal to process transactions, and staff avoiding assistance. One customer was even called dishonest and threatened with denial of service after a disagreement over flowers and store policies. Despite these inconsistencies, management has been noted for responsiveness when addressed. For example, a manager was praised for quickly resolving a major issue and providing excellent service. Overall, Kroger in Hendersonville has a dedicated team that, when at their best, provides good service, but customers advise caution regarding some interactions with certain staff members.
Nice store. But we thought nearly many grocery items were high priced.

Tried to exchange a bag of fruit bought at a different Kroger at the store treated very rudely by customer service claimed that we could not return an item from another Kroger to this Kroger. Finally did let me exchange the bag of fruit very, very poor customer service.
