“We had a great stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott located in just off I75 in Chattanooga / Ooltewah. Check in and check out was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was beautiful, modern and very clean. We really liked the layout of our room which was unlike any we've had before. Our stay included a breakfast and was probably one of the best complimentary meals I have had at ahotel. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend and plan on staying there again.”

“We've stayed at this Holiday Inn a few times but this time was the first we had issues.Hot water - took almost 10 minutes to get hot water out of the sink and shower faucets only if you ran the water. I felt bad wasting so much but I couldn't pay for cold shower.Thermostat- our Thermostat worked when it wanted to so we ended up turning it completely off.Dogs- a guest next door left their dog locked up in the room and it barked randomly throughout the day and night. We complained but nothing came of it. Disappointed the guest wasn't removed from the hotel but we also should've requested to move rooms. Won't do it again!Staff were very nice and I liked some of the upgrades they've done since our last visit. Unfortunately the negative outweighed the positive this time.We'll have to think twice about staying next trip.UPDATE:Within 48 hours we received a response from the hotel, addressing our concerns and an apology. For that I am changing my updating my service stars to 5!”

“This place was very clean and quiet. It looked updated and well maintained. There were a few places in our room that could have used some fixing (a spot on the ceiling in the shower where paint was pealing and water damage brown spot on wall behind shower head), but overall a good place to stay. Front desk service was very friendly and helpful. They were quick and efficient in check-in and check-out. The only real negative was the bed. The mattress were very uncomfortable. I generally enjoy a firm mattress, but this was like a brick.”

“Perfect choice for my family of 4. The room was cozy without feeling too small. Their breakfast was really good. There were lots of choices, so even my picky kid found something to eat each morning. Their pool was great since I have small kids, so we are happy to not have a pool with a "deep end". We were on the end closest to the road and while we could hear some traffic noise, it wasn't enough to disturb us. The staff was great from check-in to check-out. We will definitely look into booking here again for our next trip to Chattanooga.”

“We were very happy with the rooms. We had a great view of the entire Marina. The rooms were older but very large, very clean and perfect for our weekend visit. You could walk from your room to the restaurant, to the docks for sunset views, to the Marina store. The food and drinks we're worth the boat ride. Every meal was a delicious, fresh, and wonderful atmosphere . We took a short boat ride down to Chattanooga and had lunch. We never felt unsafe the entire weekend as we walked around and took boat rides. Highly recommend! Great for families too!”

“This was the best hotel of our vacation. The towels, bedding, and room amenities were clean. The furniture and bathroom fixtures were all in very good shape. There was a free hot breakfast included. The price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay here again.”

“The service here needs improvement. There has been occasions we're unable to have access (in/out) to all four doors. Management would be aware and choose to fix the broken door at a very slow rate. And what make matters worse by not putting up a sign saying/warning others the door is not fixed. However, there's sign posted throughout the building at one point about placing a rock to prop the door open, front desk watching the camera and possibly be fined by doing so. This is Not an Example of Great customer service! To know you don't have full access to the building.Front desk temporarily closed during hours of operation some of time without "will be back" posted noted.The card reader doesn't work on the new vending machine. Most snacks inside are bite size but affordable!Positive NoteCleaning crew is good! Clean floors, rooms, laundry room, lobby and trash cans are pulled almost everyday.Woodsprings on Lee Highway is best extended stay on this end.Update: back door still doesn't work”

“Very happy with our stay here. Clean, affordable, friendly staff, easy check-in. We came here after finding bed bugs in the motel 6 across the street, did not even stay 15 minutes. We ran over here to safety and were treated kindly by the gentleman at the front desk even though it was late, and were immediately shown to our rooms so that we could make sure everything was clean. Its a nice place, and IT'S CLEAN!!! Management clearly cares about their business here, and the well being of their customers. 100% recommended.”

“Room is large, looks like a sofa may have been removed. Could not visually see the hotel from the street. Tucked back in. Sheets on bed should have been retired as there were holes in them. Bed was comfy.”

“The service and clean rooms made it worth staying here instead of downtown. It was quiet. Easy and free parking. Front desk staff was amazing! Appreciate the last minute accommodations for an accessible room for our second room! Definitely recommend!”

“The only reason I give it a four on the room is because the first night in the room I couldn't get the TV to work and then when I went to bed and woke up throughout the night they were roaches running around on the floor. Then the nights after that was smooth sailing from there.Food & drinks: The food was pretty good but the biscuits were hard. The coffee was delicious and the orange juice wasn't the best.”

“Great hotel for our stay traveling home from Florida. Convenient location. Clean and modern both in the room and reception. Both ladies that checked us in and out were friendly and professional. Little details like the wood burning fireplace was lit when we checked out. We had two small dogs and the room on the ground floor had a sliding patio door for convenience to let them out. We would highly recommend this hotel.”

“This place is so much nicer now. :) The staff is super friendly and feels like family. The rooms are super clean and nice. They're remodeling the other buildings but, the one they have open is very nice. I recommend if you want a night away or you're needing a place to stay a couple days/weeks to come check them out. They're located in an area that is walkable to several restaurants and gas stations. I'II definitely will be staying when comingIf you ever need a space as big as an apartment with a working kitchen to provide for you or your loved ones, these are great hotels to go to! They even advertise that you can borrow common kitchen amenities. This is a great place to go if you feel like hanging out in the room and decompressing before hitting downtown Chattanooga . The room was clean, spacious, and comfy beds with plenty of pillows Rooms”

“This was a necessary stop since my truck, once again, broke down. However, I am so glad to have stayed here. The location is great with a cafe right next door.The room was quiet and clean as a whistle with the bed nice and soft.The manager is a prince, friendly, ploite and understanding.I definitely recommend this place if you nood a great place to spend the night.”
