Their estimate was reasonable, so I called them and ask them to order the parts and call me when they had an opening. But that's part of going to a salvage yard it's a 50-50 chance but you can save a lot of money versus buying a new part at a parts store”

“I haul 2 tons a year to Shrum's including brass, copper and aluminum. I never have any issues with their service or how long it takes me to get in and out. I usually go about 10:30 AM or 2:30 PM. The man running the grapple is a wizard. I've seen him pick the aluminum gutters out of my steel pile off the back of my trailer from 50' away. Don't go close to lunch time.”
