“Love it! Blasting Christian music ... same song I was playing in my car. Everyone is super nice. The only place I can get frozen fried pickles and frozen precooked biscuits that stick to the roof of your mouth. Great assortment of all kinds of stuff! Wonderful place to get any variety of containers and The only thing I miss are the frozen fried pickle spears and frozen vegetable sticks ....where did those go :(
Otherwise, I love the Stock Pot”

“Clean , amazing prices! Try the chocolate bars, they are from Germany and are worth the trip. Remember to take a quarter for cart rental and your own grocery bags, although you can buy bags. I can't afford Publix, Food City nor Kroger. Anything else I need I find at Food Lion!”

“So many amazing vegan foods! The Turkish aisle has canned stuffed grape leaves, white bean stew, eggplant, and many more ready-made options marked vegan. I keep these in my pantry for quick meals. You can also buy large bags of red lentils and many other specialty supplies for making vegan meals at home. Check the frozen food section for frozen Indian samosas- most of the potato and cauliflower ones are vegan; they are delicious bake-at-home treats. The Indian food section is the most impressive part of the shop- with so many sauces and chutneys available in jars. Many of the sweets are also vegan- like the Turkish delight, halva sesame dessert, dried fruits, etc.”
“I've tried many places that sell authentic tacos around the tri-cities and this place still comes in 1st. Not many places provide the grilled green onion and jalapeno, but they do. Lots of meat choices, good prices, fast and polite service. Would definitely recommend.”

The employees are really helpful and friendly!!!I haven’t met one who wasn’t extremely helpful!! Today the cashier Leann went above and beyond to help me!!!! Was doing orders for people and 2 orders got mixed up!!!! Instead of getting aggravated with me, she took the time out to straighten everything out.From going through my lists to help me straighten it out!

“I really like their sushi and usually get some at least once a week. There’s a sushi place just a couple stores down but honestly this is better sushi so they get my vote on that.
I also like that they have discounted organic fruits vegetables on a carousel near the water station. It’s a good way to get a lot of organic produce when you’re on a budget, and eat really well.”

“Food City in my opinion is the best grocery store that there is. The prices are affordable, the staff is always so friendly and eager to help you. They do a great job on keeping everything stocked up And my favorite thing the store stays clean, I'm glad that they do there is nothing Worse than going in any store and having to fight boxes sitting in the floor blocking the isle. And you talking a chance on falling and getting hurt. If you don't already shop at Food City give them a try”

“Having lived in Panama for 10 years, this was a very nice time down memory lane. This is a nice little shop catering to Hispanic imports. Spices, vegetables, dried goods, beverages, etc. We love having the imported spices available here locally for our home cooking.”
“Nice little hidden gem for exotic discount groceries. Prices are extremely fair, staff are always pleasant and inviting and, bonus, you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you're shopping. My ONLY issue would be not having a Keto friendly coffee option since many of their products are specialty. Overall, a great place!!”

“Bought several items... beautiful displays of pumpkins, coffee display with samples and larger sizes to purchase..we got some chocolate chip& yogurt muffins, very good..nice meat counter with excellent choices. It is pricey, but you have several choices. We all left happy.”
“The only reason I gave it a 4 is because 2 times they didn't have receipts at the pump. And 1 time they didn't have someone at the station a d it was cards only and I had cash. A nice lady came out to tell me.”
“Cashiers here are really friendly. I use the laundromat here and it's always clean. There's plenty of machines and I've never had to wait to get in and wash or dry my clothes. At times, I've needed change for a $20 and the cashiers are more than happy to do that. It's air conditioned and cool inside has an inside connection to the store.”

“I shop at the South Roan Street location. From the parking lot to the Isles the store is as clean as a pin. All the products are fresh. Sometimes the prices aren't the best but the product is first rate. Had a couple of problems with mis marked produce and had to return to the store to correct it. Charged for 18lbs of bananas and I only bought 5 bananas total. Manager corrected the problem with a refund. I only gave four stars because the manager was a little rude and didn't apologies for the error.”
