Fort Dickerson Park has great swimming amenities, including a floating platform, and challenging mountain bike and hiking trails around an old water-filled quarry. The park offers beautiful scenery and a great place for summer fun. Visitors can tour the fort, hike to the beach, and enjoy the quarry. The park is a cool place to explore for history and for kids to burn off energy. It is also dog-friendly and suitable for families with kids of all ages. The park has undergone renovations, including new amenities completed in 2025.
