The park is a quick stroll with a paved or dirt option and a beautiful view from the top. Trees and a bit of history covering the path, and the place is well maintained and pretty. People would love walking trails, a nice quiet place close to downtown and cool views with good foliage in the fall for photo ops. The trail to the lookout is littered with trash and graffiti and mosquitoes are common, but the view is still worth the trip. There are no toilets or restrooms on the place. The space is relatively untraveled, perfect for a picnic or fun exploration.
Quick stroll! We took the 2 year old who walked the whole way. There’s a paved or dirt option. We did Paved to the top and dirt path on way back. Beautiful trees and a bit of history! Great walk!

A beautiful view! Unfortunately the trail to get to the lookout is absolutely littered with trash. There’s not only physically trash everywhere, but there’s also graffiti everywhere as well. I wish people cared more about their surroundings. On a positive note, it’s still worth the trip to see the view.
