The park also has a skate park area that is considered awesome, but it needs better bathrooms nearby. Visitors enjoy walking and biking along the trails, especially along Third Creek, where they can see turtles and ducks. The park offers large pavilions for events, with ample parking, clean restrooms, and breezes that help keep it comfortable. However, the playground lacks shade, which can be uncomfortable on hot days. Overall, Tyson Park is a good place to walk, bike, or relax, with potential to be one of the best parks in Knoxville. It is enjoyed by families, groups, and those seeking outdoor activities.
It is a very nice park with lots of walkways, benches, and places for community. When I went there, I was saddened to find that the swings were missing from the playground completely, but otherwise everything is awesome, probably my favorite park in Knoxville

We really liked the playground at this park. It was spacious with plenty to do. There was plenty of room to run around. Celebration of Life in large pavilion was wonderful...parking was ample for a large group, restrooms handy and clean. The breezes kept the heat down and no mosquitoes.
