“Just went there for my first time and got a hamburger and fries. Both were delicious. Tasted homemade. I also got 2 egg rolls which I have to be honest I was skeptical about. I've been to every Chinese restaurant around here and these by far are my favorite. I would definitely recommend this place.”
“This is a very nice well stocked Food City. It is only 1.5 miles from the campgrounds located on the French Broad River. I only needed a few items and they had a nice selection of everything. The prices were fair. When I checked out the cashier asked if I had a Food City discount card. I told her that I was in from out of town. She entered a code and I received a $1.50 discount. That was a very nice thing to do as I have been in grocery stores in our travels that really don't care about guests. We will be shopping here again.”
“Friendly and helpful employees. Usually have what I am looking for. Keep the store cleaner than most other locations. Any issues seem to be that of their corporate like stock availability or cooler maintenance issues.”
“I love the newly remodeled look of the store. I've seen the other food cities and they don't have the beautiful fireplace in the cafe area. We live in kodak and we come here quite a bit to eat lunch. The superburger with fries is delicious. Disappointed they quit serving a drink with the meals. Everyone in this location is friendly and they know my name. The philly cheese steak sub is delicious as well. I hope they keep the prices the same, because that would make us stop going. Andregular restaurant instead. I hope to keep up the quality because at other food cities. When i've ordered the super burger at other food city locations, it's quite small in comparison, so we never eat at the other food cities. I think it was wise to remodel and I hope to keep up the looks of it, especially with the new Buccees down the street, & the Cherokee attraction coming to our area.”
