I found out today that a friend of mine passed away, and needless to say, it has been a difficult day. Tonight I ordered a medium-rare prime rib from The Chop House through DoorDash , and it was absolutely heavenly.
Everything about the meal was excellent. The prime rib was cooked exactly the way I wanted it, the food was delicious, and for a little while I was able to sit down, eat something genuinely good, and have a bit of comfort on a day when I really needed it.
I know this may sound like a lot to say about a meal, but I think people are usually much quicker to contact a restaurant when something goes wrong than when something goes right. I wanted your team to know that what you do matters.
I also really appreciate knowing that, when I want to spend a little extra and treat myself, I can order from The Chop House through DoorDash and actually receive a restaurant-quality meal at home. That reliability and quality means more than you might realize.
Please pass along my thanks to the kitchen and everyone involved with my order tonight. They gave me a small bright spot in an otherwise very sad day, and I sincerely appreciate it.
