We chose a good looking sourdough loaf out and took a savory garlic pastry to go! There is a fenced in dog area outside, indoor and outdoor seating, games, and more! We loved it here !

The burgers were delicious, especially with pimento cheese. Great options for sides - amazing potato salad. Excellent service, everyone was super nice! They had a few local beers on tap as well. Highly recommend!!

The Abbey at the Heartland Little River Capel
7765 River Rd, TownsendWas looking for places in the area and saw this was highly rated. We stopped in before going to Cades Cove and tried their pizzas. I got their gluten free pizza and a family member a regular pizza and it was pretty good! We both tried the (I think) veggie pizza. I was surprised to find that the up charge for gluten free was only $.50 (that’s AMAZING by the way). We were able to sit inside and have a view of the river. While eating, we got to watch people tube down the river. I give 4/5 stars for service because we were confused about drinks, the seating arrangement, and whether we had to clear the table when we were done eating - no one really explained it to us. You order, they give you your cup and a buzzer and then you go find somewhere to sit. The staff was super friendly and we did not have to wait long for food. Will definitely visit again!

8503 TN-73, TownsendService was excellent. Our server showed us the meaning of Southern hospitality. We were promptly seated and served drinks. We had the fried green tomatoes. They we excellent. I had the pot roast. It was very delicious. Bring your appetite. Very generous portion. We brought left overs back. My partner has the liver and onions. The entire meal was excellent and the service was top notch. We will visit again.
