Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro
7140 E Lamar Alexander Pkwy, TownsendDelicious local farm to table food. Every dish was prepared to perfection. I highly recommend the sweet tea porkchop. Great selection of wines as well. Service and atmosphere was top notch and makes us want to come back on a weeknight for an appetizer just to sit back and enjoy.

Cades Cove Campground Store and Bike Rental
10035 Campground Dr, TownsendWe rented bikes and everyone that worked there was really nice and helpful and had a sense of humor. We did the 11 mile bike ride and didn't see any bear but saw a couple deer and Turkeys. The drive there was also beautiful.

Little River Pub and Deli
7503 W Old Hwy 73, TownsendIt didn't look very appealing at first, but we were hungry after a long day of riding in a vehicle. We were served big proportions of food and it was all very good. After we ate, we played BINGO and won. If I lived in the area, I would return.

The Abbey at the Heartland Chapel
7765 River Rd, TownsendThis was such a wonderful establishment! The atmosphere was really really cool. It's like walking into an old church, there were pews, a great hall to eat in, and other options as well for dining in. We went on the way to Smokey Mountains and was a great place to stop for a quick and very delicious lunch! The workers were all super nice and the food came out fairly quickly, it was all very fresh and I appreciated the fact that they had different types of sandwich options. The portions weren't too big either. I don't have pictures, but I got the turkey on pumpernickel and let me tell you, I can still taste it to this day! Really wonderful stop if you're wanting something easy, quick and yummy!

The Riverstone Restaurant
8503 TN-73, TownsendStopped by with my mom and my kids. We started with fried green tomatoes. Probably should have gotten the half order, it was so big. They were delicious though. I had the open faced roast beef and was very happy. The mashed potatoes were homemade and the fried okra was tasty too. My mom had the shrimp basket and really enjoyed it, as well.
