“I was greeted on entering the store. You could hear the smile in her voice, it wasn't a robotic greeting. Although I didn't find what I was looking for (glitter pipe cleaners) I always find something that I can use. For a different project.”
“A very good place to buy things you need at a great price. There is a lot of Valentine's Day and St Patrick's Day items. They are just starting to put Easter out. They have new sizes of brand name candy speciality Easter candy on an end cap for $3, $4 and $5 which is great! See my pictures. If you haven't been here in awhile you may not know there is self check out but you can still have an employee do it for you. They have a lot more frozen food choices. Lots of craft stuff as well.”
“I live in Smyrna and the DT’s here are awful! I will say that they carry some items this one doesn’t but that’s it. Not really saying much as this on in Murfreesboro carries EVERYTHING!! The plus section is amazing!!! I was in there 2 hours!! Everyone was very polite and accommodating. A whole new world compared to the stores here. Thanks for being awesome! I will be back!!”

“I went in Dollar General and was quite surprised , they moved everything around and the space is easy to get around in even if you are using a wheelchair and still have a very large veriety, GREAT Update - not easy for anyone in a wheelchair anymore but they still have a large variety of merchandise.”

“Has self checkout. BEST DG in town for seasonal decor. I go between this location and the one off Manchester hwy but I prefer this one because there is less foot traffic and I don’t feel claustrophobic in there. Plus they seem to have better seasonal items than all of the others in town and they are always stocked. The tall man there with brown hair is a very good worker as well.”

“If I can't find it at home I go here. They usually have what you are looking for. This store was a little messy. It seems as if all DG stores have clutter in the aisles. Besides the clutter it was clean. Great price on bottle water. The people were nice.”

“Its convenient, most of the time pretty Clean, But they dont keep up with rotating Stock very well. I have bought food that was out of Date. So watch your dates on Breads and Cookies and such. Otherwise Glad we have one so close by.”
“Rated solely on customer service!! in past arrived to find store closed, though hours of operation said open?! When open it’s disorganized and understaffed, with multiple registers but only one in use. Grievances prob. due to understaffing! Recently noticed new employees/management. Amongst new faces brings breath fresh air along with pretty long hair, I think his name is Nick? He’s the reason for review!! Every time he's been beyond helpful to assist even if busy with other tasks. I’ve witnessed same treatment to others including his coworkers on multiple occasions when I’ve shopped store. I’m a customer because location is convenient for me. Not being open, long lines, and understocked is frustratingly inconvenient and I was going to take my business elsewhere. For now I have changed my mind and will continue to shop this location solely from my experience from this young man.”

“I had a return and the receipt was on my DG app. The store where I bought it wouldn't let me return it without the paper receipt but the ladies at the DG on medical center parkway let me return it. They were so nice! I'll definitely be shopping at this location again!”
“This Store had really gone down hill over the last year or two. That being said, they have REALLY turned things around this year. They have the most helpful and friendliest cashier I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I think she only works on the weekend and her name is Natasha. She was a high school math teacher for 10 years, has been married for over 30 years and has two children and 3 grandchildren. I learned all this just by watching and hearing her help Customers find things and run the cash register and I have only been there two times. Both times, she was ALL OVER that store, helping customers, hugging customers (both times, i saw at least 3 customers hug her when they came in) and then running the cashier. In fact, on both of my visits, she was the only employee I saw in the entire store. She was stocking shelves the last time when I first walked in. I know I have made this store review all about this one cashier, but she impresses me that much. Oh, I almost left this part out... the first time I went there, when she was working, the reason I first noticed her was because a customer brought in a potted rose bush as a gift. I have never seen anything like that!”
