“I have been a shopper at IGA for 20 years . Love the little home town grocery. Often have some amazing deals as the did today. Bought 2 packages of Oscar Mayer bacon for 3.48 each . Normally 8$ plus . Also bought a whole piece of new York strip steaks and had them slice into 1 inch steaks . 6.48 a pound if you buy the whole thing . What a deal. Great looking steaks . Eneded up with 18 steaks for 90$ . That's 5$ a steak. Wow . Thanks IGA .”
“Located in Washburn on Tater Valley Road. Very quaint little country store. Pictures on the wall tell the story of a long lineage of family that have run the store over the years. They have a little bit of everything from groceries to a deli to gas. You can even buy first aide types of medicine and supplies. The deli serves a "home-cooked" variety of small meals. Try the mini burgers!! Friendly service. They don't charge exorbitant convenient store prices either. Great "historical " type place to visit if you are anywhere near Washburn in Grainger County.”
“From Burgers, chili cheese fries, hamburger steak, tater babies, to pizza their food has been fresh and so good. Just tried the pizza tonight and I’m very picky about the food. But, it was impressive. Highly recommend”
“The staff are always friendly and the food is really good for the "hole in the wall" type of gas station that seeves mads to order deli food. I have been coming here since the early 2000's and will continue to as long as it stays running like it has been all these years that my family has been enjoying it.”

“A very appealing shop. Many fine offerings.The Riesling wine sold there is produced from California grapes. It is excellent! It is clear the proprietors know what they are doing.Now I am motivated to return and see what they can accomplish with grapes grown on site. My expectations are pretty high.”

“A gas station/store combo so you can fill up both tanks. They have a grill and fix great hamburgers and other food, a group of tables and chairs inside so you can cool off and eat in comfort.”
“Friendly staff, fair gas prices, the interior is a little warn looking and some of the products I've purchased in the past was kind of stale. My car does not burn through gas purchased here as much as the other places in town.”

“I’m new to the area and by far this is my favorite store. The ladies are amazing and are always willing to go out of their way to help anyone who asks. I’ve never went into that store and not been greeted for there was always one of them around to make sure they greet each customer that comes in. The store manager is just so bubbly and energetic that it makes the atmosphere feel wonderful. I don’t know why anyone would try to destroy something that apparently has took a lot time to shape and form to make it just right.”

“The new manager has cleaned up and organized the store better. The staff is nice and quick, but parking is still bad. I need the handicap parking spot and there is usually someone blocking the spot so I can't get in. Nothing ever gets done to fix the issue either.”

“I actually like this little store. I live pretty much across the road from the 1 on Rutledge pike (by East Knox Elem.) but will drive across the bridge to go tò this 1. But that's mostly because of the store cleanliness an also, nio, mostly because the 1 on Rutledge pike has the most horrible customer service I've seen at a Dollar General in a very long time. They are quite rude at that 1 an forget it if you need any kind of help on the floor. There store is also a mess most of the time. With carts an merch sitting every where. I certianly understand if there's not enough to ring up customers AND put out stock. Mgt is at fault there. But when you've got even 3 working, thats MORE than enough, honestly!”
