“This is a great place to not only get gas, they have an ice cream store they just opened a couple years ago that's pretty convenient. There's also a tackle store. They have bring your own lawn chair music on weekends. Sit around the fire pits and enjoy your picnic dinner. Imagine that, right here in Bon Aqua.”
“Definitely worth the stop!! I like to pre-order chicken and fish, cause I order alot lol Their chicken strips are amazing, and the fried catfish is perfect!! “This Shell station is very nice. The store & bathrooms are very clean and bright. The coffee is always really great with a nice assortment of creamers. Lacey, the Night Mgr. is very kind and a lovely presence at this store. At 1:30am, it's nice to be treated so kindly by the staff. Thank you! I am very grateful!

“I almost never go inside Huck's, but they have the usual selection that all big gas stations have. The place is clean and it all looks good. I go to Dickson every ten days or so and I usually buy gas there. Most of the time their prices are among the lowest in town and it's convenient for me. I like it.”

“A gas station is a gas station is a gas station...except this one! Slightly crowded with all they sell, but OH MY GAWD! The fish and potato wedges! The filets are HUMONGOUS and super fresh! They are spiced perfectly and just fall apart in your mouth. This is definitely one place you should not just it's book by it's cover. It is a gem I brag to many about and my children beg for when I bring them up here to visit! Hands down, the food is 5☆!”

“I just wish that the speedy cafe was open 24 hours again. I miss getting off work at 3am and getting a good pizza from there. Otherwise it's a decent little gas station, it tends to have the lowest gas prices and has flex fuel for those kinds of vehicles.”

“Sudden Service is a great pit stop right off I-40 if you are coming to or leaving Nashville as it is located in the nearby city of Dickson. This convenience store and gas station includes a couple of restaurants including Subway and Taco Bell. There are multiple restroom stalls and they are all clean. The store has plenty of snacks, drinks and even some souvenirs. This is always going to be our go-to spot since we have a good experience with it and it is easy to locate.”

“LADIES!! Stop here if you’re traveling on interstate!! This is such a cute and clean gas station. The two ladies inside were the sweetest to me and my boyfriend when we stopped. They had CLEAN restrooms (I actually had to use the men’s room so to say it was clean is saying something). I don’t know that I’ve ever felt safe at a gas station than I did at this one. Phenomenal job running the place ladies!!”

“I stop here almost daily for coffee. The machines they have make a great cup at a very reasonable price, and they also have all of the "fixings" for your drink. Multiple creamer and sugar options, and multiple coffee options as well.They also have a decent selection of snacks.The employees have always been very nice, it's rare that I go in and don't have a short conversation with one of them.The reward system is pretty decent too, I get free drinks all the time, and don't have to spend a ridiculous amount of money to earn points.”

“For the most part, everyone who works there is helpful, even if not always friendly, some more than others. I do pick my time to go in there when certain employees are not working to avoid attitudes. The store itself could be updated and better stocked. They seem to always have half-filled cold drinks (and don't dare ask if they have anything in back!!...made that mistake ONCE). Otherwise, overall, quick place to run in. I prefer Mapco over anyone else, so I'm glad there is one in Centerville.”

“Made a stop at the Pilot Travel Center in Dickson, Tennessee and honestly this is one of the better truck stops you’ll find traveling through Tennessee on I-40. From the moment you pull in, you can tell this location is well managed and takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and driver friendly. The parking lot was easy to maneuver through, fuel lanes moved efficiently, and the entire property felt safe and well maintained.
Inside the store was spotless and fully stocked with everything a driver or traveler could need for the road. The bathrooms were extremely clean, and the showers were impressive — fresh, clean, hot water, and maintained the way they should be. After spending long hours on the highway, stops like this truly make a difference. You can tell the employees work hard to keep this location running smoothly because everything was organized even during busy hours.
The food and drink selection was excellent with plenty of grab-and-go options, snacks, coffee, and hot food choices. The staff members were friendly, professional, and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made the stop even better. It’s always appreciated when employees treat drivers with respect and keep a positive attitude because that goes a long way on the road.
What really stands out about this Pilot is the overall experience. Clean showers, clean bathrooms, organized shelves, fast service, plenty of parking, and a comfortable environment to take a break and recharge before getting back on the interstate. Whether you’re a professional CDL driver running linehaul or a family traveling across Tennessee, this location is definitely worth stopping at.
