“I had done a fair amount of research on the Tiguan prior to going to Volkswagen of North Nashville. As soon as I walked in, I was promptly met by Marco Bowen. Very professional, introduced himself and asked if he could help. I told him what I was looking for, and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. He pulled two vehicles up to the front of the dealership; I was interested in the 2026.Prior to taking it for a test drive Marco took time to explain the different features and how they operated. Very professional, no pressure and answered all of our questions. It was a great experience dealing with Marco. I suggest if you are looking for a car you contact Marco.”

My service advisor Shawna and the General Manager Brent bent over backwards to make sure that my vehicle was done on an expedited timeline before I had to make a long trip. “I was skeptical after reading the lower reviews, but the service here was excellent. They were professional and friendly.

Took my dad's truck here, dropped it off, and I received a call about an hour later with the estimate. They let me know it would have to wait until the next day due to getting the part, but they promised to keep the truck inside so it wouldn't get rained in (issue was broken window regulator, and I couldn't roll up the window.)

Mike was friendly every moment I interacted with him and so were the other staff members.”

“I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the amazing team at Pep Boys! While I was out running errands, my car suddenly started making strange noises. I happened to be near this location and decided to stop in to see if they could take a quick look.

The gentleman at the counter (who I’m convinced is an actual angel on earth) let me know there were several cars ahead of me. But when I explained that I was on my lunch break and the situation felt urgent, he kindly stepped outside to listen and assess the issue himself. After offering his honest opinion on what might be going on, I decided to leave my car in their care.

A few hours later, they called with the head mechanic’s diagnosis and suggested I tow the car back to the Honda dealership, where I had recently gotten an oil change. They suspected the issue may have started there—and they were spot on. It turned out the Honda mechanic had failed to install a washer properly, which caused a leak and the strange noises I’d heard. Thankfully, Honda acknowledged the mistake, fixed it at no cost, and my car is now running smoothly.

The Pep Boys team treated me like family and went above and beyond to help me during a stressful moment. I’m incredibly grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and honesty. “Update 12/23/25: Thank you Tristan and team for your professional follow-up concerning this matter. I appreciate your willingness to reach out with a resolution.

I went to Tire Discounters in Madison, TN on 12/16/25 for a simple oil change. When I got home, I noticed that the overhead heating light above the service bay had melted the bug deflector on the hood of my truck while it was being serviced.

Within an hour, I drove back and spoke with JT, who acknowledged the damage and told me he had ordered a replacement part. He assured me he would call when it arrived so they could install it.

By 12/19/25, I still hadn’t heard anything, so I called at 9 AM and was told someone would call me back. No one did. Around 11:30 AM, I stopped by in person and was told by the front desk that there was no record of the replacement order at all, and that I would need to speak with JT on Monday.

On 12/22/25, I called again and spoke with a manager, who told me JT wasn’t coming in—despite being told on Friday that he would be available. During that call, Zach informed me they were taking no further action, and that I should file a police report and let corporate handle it.

This entire situation has been incredibly frustrating. The damage was caused during their service, the repair was promised on 12/16, and every attempt I made to follow up was met with delays, contradictions, or being brushed off. This should have been a simple fix, but instead I’ve been left with damage to my vehicle and no accountability from the store.”
