“In researching a TV repair company, I found Doug's, called the number on the website, left a message, and got a quick response. After describing the issue with my TV, he diagnosed the problem was my backlight. He said he could fix it, but that my issue was common with that model and the damage it created could never be fully restored. I opted to forego the repair and replace the TV. I appreciate him talking it through with me and giving me an honest evaluation, saving me from putting money into a lost cause.”

“Everything you can’t get at Home Depot you get here. First of all you can get directed to what you’re looking for. Better yet you don’t have to search or wait for someone to help you, and they all are extremely knowledgeable. If you tell them your problem, they will direct you to the proper tools and even assemble them sometimes for you if assembly is required. It’s a friendly local store. It may be 1/10 the size of Home Depot, so there is a trade-off in terms of selection. And they don’t have all of the categories that Home Depot has. But they do get you to the right tools for your project. For handiwork they generally have what I need.”

“In the past year, Tucker’s (was Gabe’s) repair people have come to my home to repair my dishwasher, refrigerator and yesterday, my stove. All have reached that critical age of 10 years old. Each of the techs was friendly, knowledgeable and worked quickly. Yes, it’s expensive but everyone is these days! They will be my “go-to” from now on.”

I can’t thank this place enough for the help they gave me when I was stranded during a snowstorm. They helped get my car jumpstarted so I could safely make it to the store, took the time to make sure I was okay, and made sure I wasn’t left dealing with the situation alone.
On top of that, they gave me 10% off the battery, which may seem small to some, but meant a lot in the moment. More than the discount, it was the kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help during bad weather that truly stood out.
Situations like this really show the difference between places that just do business and places that genuinely care about people. I’m incredibly grateful for the help and would absolutely recommend this location to anyone—especially when you need reliable, human service during tough conditions.
