“A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to go to Home Depot to check out Christmas tree. Despite it pouring rain outside, the employees of the garden center were dressed head to toe in yellow rain gear to help anyone needing assistance outside. After initially checking out the trees, my boyfriend and I opted to leave as we didn't want to purchase a tree without seeing how it looked untied. It appeared all the trees were already tied up for easy pick-up. As we walked to our car (in the pouring rain), one of the employees, Will, ran up behind us with an umbrella and continued to walk with us holding the umbrella over us so we didn't have to be rained on. He was not prompted. He was not under any direction. He just did it. We couldn't believe how kind of him that was. We began talking about how we wanted a tree, but opted not to because we wanted to be able to see what it looked like after being tied up. He goes, "Oh! Well, let me help you. I'd be happy to do that for you. Let's go back over to the trees." For the next 20 minutes, he generously assisted us in looking for the right tree, all the while giving us useful tips on how to treat the tree once at home. Upon purchase of the tree, two other guys helped tie the tree on top of our vehicle, again, in the pouring rain. They took their time, making sure everything was secure. When we were ready to leave, we offered a tip. They kindly declined saying that they don't accept tips!! We insisted, but they once kindly stated it was their pleasure to simply be of service to us. We couldn't believe it! These guys went over and beyond for us on a day that I'm sure they would have rather stayed home in their comfy houses outside of the cold and rain. Yet, they were working in the rain and were so generous and kind. THANK YOU Home Depot Madison! You guys have won our business for a lifetime.”

“I've been meaning to get to this shop for years. I moved out of Nashville about the time that I first heard of them, and while we still visit Nashville fairly regularly, the trip to Lawrence & Clarke took way too long to happen. I finally went in to get some help repotting an out of control vineing plant, and it was one of the best shopping experiences ever (which is saying a lot considering how overwhelming shopping can be for me at times). The people there were so kind and helpful. They took such thoughtful care of my plant and me! I wanted to move into the shop, live there forever, and learn their beautiful plant witch ways. They said to reach out if I needed any help, and I believe that they sincerely meant it. My son was fascinated by a pitcher plant, so we got one. He was so excited as he commented, "I've never had a carnivorous plant before!" Overall, a super welcoming environment with knowledgeable staff that I will forsure come back to (without waiting so long to visit the next time). Thanks y'all!”

“Kevin in the Pro Dept is amazing and in my opinion, he is stellar! Went to 5 other Home Depot's and looking for a certain Dewalt tool that each store claimed they had. Not one employee would give me any more than 5 minutes of their time, nor would they look for it. Got to the Madison HDepot and met Kevin. He called around to the other stores, tracked one down, had it shipped to my house via UPS. Took him a few days, but he found it. Not only did he do that work, but he followed up with me afterwards. Amazing customer service!”
