“I love this wonderful nursery! So many amazing plants to choose from all year around. I love the staff as they are very helpful with my questions. The price point on the plants are also really good. With a little bit of hunting you can find some amazing hidden gems.

“There is plenty of parking and the lot is very well maintained. The store itself is very clean. The staff is very nice and courteous. They load items for you. The prices are reasonable. The outside items for purchase are kept nice and neat. The boards are straight. Overall very nice shopping trip for fencing repair supplies.”

“I bought two Pothos plants at an outdoor market down the street. Then I realized I didn't have pots for them and they didn't sell them at the market. So I went to flower mart. These two pothos are my first plants in a very long time, and I know nothing about plants. So walking around flower mart I was pretty immediately overwhelmed. I eventually asked a lovely lady, Olivia, for help. She not only helped me find the pots but when I asked if I should take the pothos out of the containers I bought them in or just put that container into the pots she offered to repot them for me. She added fresh soil and an insecticide powder in the soil. She talked to me about how to know when a pothos is especially dry, when to pot and to what size to pot. She gave me tips on how to look for bugs. She watered them for me and gave me a box to put them in so that they wouldn't wet my car afterwards. She was basically my plant fairy godmother and absolutely made my day. Olivia if you see this you're the best! Oh and I was so touched by our encounter I decided to name my plants Olivia and Dean, in honor of my fairy godmother and also the pop/soul singing icon of our generation.”

“Had a great experience with Dickens Turf’s East Nashville location. The team was fantastic; knowledgeable, took the time to answer all of our questions, and provided great service. We recently purchased a property with a lot of land, and needed a lawnmower upgrade. Kevin gave us honest opinions and helped us select the right lower for us. The Ferris lawnmower has been an excellent machine so far. There’s a lot of acreage and some rough terrain so we had a lot of questions and Kevin took the time to explain all of the nuances because it was our first time to buy a riding, zero turn lawnmower. Kevin also spent some time with us when he delivered the lawnmower to again walk us through the process and show us some of the features before giving us a demonstration and then guiding us as we gave it a try. Such a great buy (and a great price) and an excellent experience all around. Thankful Dickens was recommended to us and glad to see they live up to the hype!”

“It's a basic home depot. I wish they had more variety in the garden center, but we do live in Tennessee and it seems the only place you can find good variety would be local landscaping/garden centers. I do appreciate when they do have good variety and species at a good prices. The economy is nuts right now so it's hard to even know if we get a deal anymore when it happens.”
“Every plant under the sun except Eucalyptus, which I happen to be looking for. They ward off spiders, so I was trying to get them because there is a rich history of Spiders vs Composers (as they famously took the life of Berg) that I want to avoid. There's even a type of song called a Tarantella where you play it after someone gets a spider bite so they frantically dance around so the venum will come out”
“I special ordered some deck boards. I made the mistake and ordered 16 foot lengths thinking this would save my labor time. I had a 12 foot trailer and tried to use a pallet to prop the back up. They were too flimsy. I am not paying $80 to get them delivered. It took a little time but Richard delivered them on a 20 foot flatbed and unloaded them exactly where I wanted. After all the pain in the butt this solution worked out well. I appreciate the perseverance of the Home Depot Folks in making this happen. I get that it is a big box store but they did go above and beyond and always had professionalism and courtesy and helping me.”
