It's a super tiny USPS store with only 1 worker here FYI unlike other USPS with larger store setting with multiple people working so if you come here to ship something and time sensitive, you may need to wait a bit so just know that. If you need personal help with package I would come here for sure though because lady super nice, helpful, caring, unlike others I have been to so I really appreciate her being here.”
“Having taken a job near this post office, I've used the facility three times in the past week. What it lacks in size it more than makes up for with customer service. I frequent Nashville post offices for business reasons, and this location has some of the most helpful workers of any post office in town. They're conveniently located near I-40 and never have a line!”

“First of all, I just started making a lot of appearances at this location in the last few months due to a side job that requires frequent visits to my local post offices. And I wanted to give a shoutout to Sandy at the Goodlettsville location because she’s always calm and super friendly even when there’s a huge line and she’s the only clerk there! To me, that’s what customer service is all about especially when you’re the only clerk there at that time and you’re busy. So kudos to Sandy for keeping it together during a very busy time!”
“It’s no secret post office interactions can be less than the height of pleasurable experiences. My family and I have endured confusing and shocking moments ourselves. But those reviews are clearly written by others, and after my experience today it is right that credit be given where it’s due.
A wonderful woman named Ty works as a clerk at this location and she was an absolute delight. She was professional, kind, clearly competent, answered my inexperienced questions, and guided me step by step through the process of mailing an official document to an out of state clerks office.

“The two men at the front desk who helped me ship out my international package were very pleasant and funny. I was nervous after I read all the negative reviews about rude employees especially since I had an international shipment which may be more complicated, but those rude employees must not be there anymore. Everything went smoothly and much easier than I expected!”
“Great experience! This was my second time having to come back in the past week. First time to take my passport photo and the second to mail my renewal. Both times were great experiences. Photo service was fast, efficient and made sure I was happy with the photo. Very nice and professional. Second time was today to send the renewal. They helped me make sure that I had everything in order to send off my renewal and explained each step of the process they were on. Both employees today (9/1 @ 12:30ish pm) were genuinely happy to be at work and were so helpful. (They both helped me because I had to run out and come back cause I forgot)
Thank you to the employees at this location that helped me turn something that has been stressing me out into a genuinely positive experience.”

“A beautiful piece of Old Hickory Village history that still exists and is running. Walking inside is like entering a time machine. The wood and brass—it’s lovely. Yes, on some days it would be nice to have more than one window open, but I’ve been going there for twenty years and the most time I’ve ever had to wait is ten minutes. I remembering Nashville waiting up to 45-60 minutes—especially before Amazon, UPS and Fedx existed. We were all at the mercy of postal workers working at the counters, some of whom—well, that was a different time. This post office feels stress—free and pleasant. Staff is very attentive. No egos behind the counter. Friendly to everyone who comes in. That’s been my experience. Anyone coming into the village for the first time should definitely make a short visit inside.”

“First time here, to mail two packages to PR. I arrived at 11am and only one customer was there. Place looks brand new and super clean. Only one teller, that was OK today, but had they been busy it would have been a problem.
Young teller was great, only three people behind me when I left.”
“I would like to share a positive experience with the United States postal service Donelson branch. I know I've had some bad experiences with them but I would like to tell you about Darius. I rarely use that branch, but I had a couple of things on different days to mail quickly so that's the closest one to my home. On both days Darius was so pleasant and really wanted to help me figure out exactly how I should send the items for the best price. I got great service on two different days with Darius and I sure appreciated it
He was a rock star! Thank you Darius and also Kudos to his co-worker beside him for his suggestion that helped. I wish I would have gotten his name.”
“For people who have had an issue with them being closed and the hours on Google being incorrect, please submit a suggested change in hours on Google so that others don't go through what you went through. Idk if that suggested change in hours actually works, but maybe it will if we all submit it for the 8:30 am to 5 pm they actually seem to operate.
I haven’t personally had an issue with this post office. The workers aren’t overly friendly, but I don’t expect them to be. We are all people and don’t need to be “on” all the time, even in a customer service job. I have had good interactions with the staff who tell me what I need if I’m missing something. Their policies on buying tape are ridiculous, but the customer service people aren’t the ones making that policy.”
