“This is hands down my favorite thrift store! Owners are so friendly and they always have the cutest items on hand. Got a gift for my friend’s birthday here and she loves it. I always end up coming back here to shop!”
“Had such a great experience here.
Hudson was super friendly and helpful and even took my coffee for me while I shopped.
That guy deserves a promotion and raise ASAP.
Seriously no other music store like it!
Guitar selection is incredible and extremely unique.
They have a big vintage clothing area with fun quirky jewelry and dope vintage hats.”
“Did business with these folks through their instagram account from accross the country!
I saw a product in one of their Reels that I had to have. I messaged their account directly through their inbox. They shared the store's venmo account, and the items were sent within two days, along with a tracking number being sent to my instagram account. Three days later, I had my new favorite knickknacks. I am one happy customer. The person I spoke to through the instagram account was very kind, and the things I got were super clean (which isn't always the case when you buy vintage!!!) And packaged very carefully with lots of bubble wrap. If you're not local but looking for unique wears, maybe give their account a peek!”
“Shannon at Rare Bird Antiques & Vintage was absolutely fantastic! She gave me an awesome tour of the shop and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming throughout. You can really feel her passion for the pieces and the history behind them. Such a great experience—highly recommend stopping in and asking for Shannon and Colleen!”
“Great Store. You can play a lot of guitars. There‘s guitars in every price range. The staff is really friendly and competent.
All in All great experience.
I didn‘t end up buying a guitar, as I don‘t want to fly it out. But i got some strings.”
“The new location is great. We loved the old one but this one does have everything that you would want in a great musical instrument store. The staff is friendly and the selection of mandolins is the best in Nashville.”
“I adore the vibe, selection, and owner of this shop. I have a truly inspiring, special experience every time I visit. I’ve found treasures to fit my my every mood and performance— all at reasonable prices. Live True is a magical place and Tammy is a peach!”
“This has been my go-to antique mall since I was a teen. Wide selection of vintage clothes, jewelry, homeware, kitschy stuff, records, and furniture. The prices have gone up since I was a teen and Goodlettsville has gotten more popular since the Nashville popularity boom, but there are still tons of affordable goodies around— you just have to look! I got a dress for New Years for only $20. I will sing their prasies forever. Lovely staff who feel like family whenever I come back to town.”
“I LOVE this shop!!!! The owners are incredible and take so much pride in what they do. You have to stop here or make a cutesie day trip if you live in Nashville! <3333”
“Absolutely great. It’s clear the owners work hard to carry a variety of cool stuff. They were also super nice and prices were very fair. Will definitely come again!”
“A cool little vintage shop with women’s - and some men’s - clothing, shoes, and accessories, near the Five Points area of East Nashville. It sits right next to The 5 Spot. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice vibe.”
“This place is so fun as shopping should be. It’s been awhile since I consigned and after doing some research, I chose Up&Down. Ms. Barbara (their intake person) is delightful. I also have a dear friend from high school who helps out in the shop which made me even more comfortable. There is lots to choose from also. Enjoy!”
“Anaconda Vintage has become my favorite vintage clothing shop in Nashville! It’s very well organized and has a great variety of vintage clothes. I stop by frequently to shop, and I always find something newly added everytime I visit. Pricing is very reasonable, and they have a $5 rack at the entrance that I have also found some amazing finds while looking through. The staff members are all friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Anaconda Vintage!”
“We are from St. Louis and visiting Nashville.I bought one of these shirts... And love it.We have now shared with our friends and they too want many of your creations. You have a great idea and product!Keep it going. Glad to support small businesses, especially when it is great.Yours is great.Thank you.”
“Love this antique mall! So many true antiques and unique finds every inch of the store. If you want vintage clothes and funky home decor, this is your place. The prices are a bit high in some of the booths, but you’re in a “hip” part of town so that’s to be expected.”
“Fun shop to look around. Mostly clothing but there's also household goods of all sorts and jewelry. Some prices are high on clothing, but they do have deals every day depending on tag color.”
“I had the most wonderful experience at this antique store! The owners of this cute shop went out of their way to help me with my furniture (table) purchase, and they were so incredibly kind throughout the entire process. They truly made me feel welcomed and taken care of. The store is filled with the cutest items, and you can tell they put so much thought into every piece they carry. I will definitely continue shopping here—highly recommend”
“Great place to drop off anything you want to get rid of. And they have a lot more stuff there than in the other of the stores. People are very friendly that work there.”
“My favorite thrift store in Nashville hands down & they are my competitor. They have every era & best selection for everyday person & totally fair prices. Look I love going around to all the stores for fun but I can walk out not questioning in my gut should I have purchased it because price was too high. They sometimes carry some formal wear & even have a pretty good plus size selection as well.”
“Best vintage store in Nashville. Store has a huge selection with a vast variety of clothing items and apparel. Shane, the owner is AWESOME, very cordial and willing to help you find that specific item. Highly recommend this place, first class all the way...”
“Cool little spot. I own a small business,
therefore, i enjoy supporting small businesses. This place was recommended to me, so i thought I'd check it out. Charlie was inviting and very courteous. It's a quaint little spot.
Glad I checked it out.”
“This place has a ton of cool stuff but it's not overwhelming. Everyone who works there is nice. It's not a thrift store, not thrift store prices. Refurbished items for fair asking prices.”
“Black Shag Vintage is hands down the best place for curated vintage band tees. The selection is so dialed that you don’t even have to dig for long to find something special. Every rack is stacked with real gems, no filler, no fake vintage, no guessing.
Emily and Laurel make the whole experience even better. They’re insanely knowledgeable, super helpful, and actually fun to be around. You can tell everyone there genuinely understands true vintage, the history, the details, and why certain pieces matter.
This is definitely not a store for someone who doesn’t get vintage. If you know, you know. Black Shag is for people who care about authenticity, quality, and thoughtful curation. Easily one of the best vintage shops out there.”
“This store has improved very much. There are friendly employees and I find lots of treasures. With the floor being more organized, it has been easier for us to shop. I love this store.”
“Omg bless them and I pray GOD. GRANT THEM MANY BLESSINGS. I start my new cna job I was spending my last on my uniform yall the lady bless me and only charged me 17 and I was wondering how I would eat. It may not be much but that 5 dollars went toward a loaf of bread and lunch meat and a bag of oranges to last me the week. The store is clean and well organized”
“Amazed at knowing that our purchases directly support your mission of changing lives through education, training, and employment. God bless and help you all continue with the mission of impacting lives.”
“Lewisburg Tennessee, Mike’s cashier is awesome! I chose to go to him when ever I can! Feels like a friend. Rita’s in the back, she is always friendly helpful and just a joy to be around.”
“A step above your average thrift store in terms of selection but the prices reflect that
Do not come here expecting to sell your clothes for more than the gas money it cost to get here. I think it's unfair to dock stars for that though. go list your shit on ebay if you think it's worth something”
“Good to help others while getting stuff you need lots of clothes and shoes toys books & movies as well as household appliances dishes silverware n coffee mugs ?✌️”
“Like most stores they sell donated items and clothing. They’re short staffed at the cashier station but the one cashier is quick and has a good attitude.
I enjoyed shopping around. I didn’t find anything on this trip but lots of people sure did!
Enjoy the scavenger hunt!”
